Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition (70cl, 40%)
The Jameson Caskmates series continues with the IPA Edition! As with the Stout Edition, Jameson sent its used whiskey casks over the Franciscan Well brewery, where they were used to aged some IPA beer. After that, the casks made their way back to the distillery, were they were used to finish this enjoyable Irish whiskey.
Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition (70cl, 40%)
Irish Whiskey, craft beer barrels.
Like all the best conversations, the one between Jameson’s Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local craft beer brewery, started at the bar. A swapping of whiskey and beer barrels soon after, resulted in Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition – triple-distilled, blended Irish Whiskey that has been patiently finished in Irish craft beer-seasoned barrels.

Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Bottle No.1437 (75cl, 46%)
This release celebrates the Midleton Distillery’s master distillery, Barry Crockett, a man with more than 50 years of experience in distilling, 35 of those years as the master distiller of the Midleton Distillery. This special whisky is a blend of single pot still whiskies laid down over the course of 22 years. These whiskies have mainly been aged in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a very vanilla-rich and slightly spicy whisky with an almost perfectly balanced oak influence. It is bottled at 46% without chillfiltration.
Released in 2011, Midleton’s Barry Crockett edition was named after the distillery’s master distiller, and it is aged in both bourbon and new American oak barrels! Very interesting indeed and a limited release of around 2,500 bottles per year.
Named after Midleton master distiller Barry Crockett.
Legacy was released in 2011, exclusively matured in Oak barrels which have previously contained American Bourbon.

Midleton Very Rare 2023 (70cl, 40%)
Midleton’s annual Very Rare series began in 1984 and sees each master distiller delve into the exclusive Midleton inventory to create an exceptional example of Irish whiskey. The 2023 release was composed by master distiller Kevin O’Gorman who, after months of exploration, selected a range of pot still and single-grain Irish whiskeys matured in lightly charred bourbon casks. Keeping sustainability in mind, the case for this 2023 edition isn’t made of oak as seen in recent years, instead, it’s housed in a hard cardboard fabric-lined box, inspired by the original packaging used for the series between 1984 and 1990.
Paddy Irish Whiskey (1L, 40%)
A triple distilled blended Irish Whiskey produced in Cork and made, unusually, with all three styles of Irish whiskey: single pot still, single malt and grain. First produced in 1779, it wasn’t until 1913 that it changed it’s name to Paddy after legendary salesman Paddy Flaherty. Before that it had the rather catchy name of “Cork Distilling Company Map of Ireland Old Irish Whiskey”. Rolls right off the tongue that one.
