Springbank Vintage 2001 Batch No.1 bottled 2009 (70cl, 55.3%)
Following the success of the 1997 vintage cask strength releases, Springbank released this 2001 vintage.
Batch #1 was bottled in July 2009.
This 2001 Springbank vintage was released in 2009, a vatting of sherry and bourbon casks, with natural caramel sweetness, some citrussy flavours and a noticeable peaty edge.

Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne 75cl, 12.5%
A great non-vintage Champagne from the renowned house of Taittinger. This is made with 60% Pinot grapes and 40% Chardonnay. The grapes come from between 30 and 50 different vineyards. It’s aged between 3 and 4 years, and pairs brilliantly with pasta dishes.
Talisker Select Reserve Game of Thrones House Greyjoy (70cl, 45.8%)
A sea-faring people, House Greyjoy rule over the Iron Islands and worship the Drowned God. The Ironborn live and breathe the sea, making their fortune amidst salt and smoke. With the sweat of their brows and the strength of their backs the Greyjoys have forged their place amongst the great Houses of Westeros, feeding their people and surviving on the desolate Iron Islands. They pay the Iron Price to succeed. On the shores of one of the most remote and rugged Islands in Scotland, the Isle of Skye, lies Talisker Distillery. Its wave-beaten shores imbue its whisky with Talisker’s signature maritime character. An intense, smoky single malt, with spicy and sweet notes, whose maritime edge makes this the perfect whisky to represent House Greyjoy.
Tamdhu 8 Year Old 2006 Provenance Douglas Laing (70cl, 46%)
8 year old Tamdhu single malt here, independently bottled by the brilliant Douglas Laing! This one was distilled back in June 2006 and set aside to mature in a refill hogshead for a decade, and bottled at 46% ABV in November 2015 with an outturn of 477 bottles. Yet another tasty expression from the Provenance range.

Tomatin 15 Year Old Moscatel Cask Finish (70cl, 46%)
15 year old single malt from the Tomatin distillery, which have been treated to a generous five-year-long finishing period in casks that previously held Portuguese Moscatel wine. Not a particularly common type of cask for whisky maturation, but one that imparts hefty notes of dried fruit and toasted nuts – sounds excellent to us!
