This one was distilled back in June 2006 and set aside to mature in a refill hogshead for a decade, and bottled at 46% ABV in November 2015 with an outturn of 477 bottles. Yet another tasty expression from the Provenance range.

Tasting Note

Nose: Honey, caramel and sponge cake, with a touch of malt.

Palate: Hints of citrus sharpness, followed by more toffee and barley.

Finish: Light wafts of peppery heat on the finish. Waxy peels and candied ginger.
