    Attention fans of Sherry cask matured whiskies! Announced in mid-July and now available in our shop: the new Tamdhu 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Casks. As usual with Tamdhu, this single malt is matured exclusively in Spanish Sherry casks from Jerez. These are made of European and American oak and are essential for the taste and colour of Tamdhu. The new 12 Year Old single malt will replace the 10 Year Old Tamdhu Sherry Cask as the future standard bottling.

    This 21-year-old Tamdhu is richly sherried and full of character. Matured in a mix of American and European oak oloroso sherry casks, it layers notes of dried fig, orange peel and roasted nuts over a base of dark chocolate and spiced oak, with just a touch of smoke in the background. A weighty Speyside dram that shows how well the distillery handles long ageing under sherry.

    The oldest expression in Tamdhu’s core range, this 21-year-old Speyside single malt is matured exclusively in the oloroso sherry casks, a combination of first-fill and refill American and European oak. Uncompromising in its cask selection as usual, Tamdhu creates the rich, complex character it’s known for, with a balance of sherried sweetness, spice, and dignified dryness.

    8 year old Tamdhu single malt here, independently bottled by the brilliant Douglas Laing! This one was distilled back in June 2006 and set aside to mature in a refill hogshead for a decade, and bottled at 46% ABV in November 2015 with an outturn of 477 bottles. Yet another tasty expression from the Provenance range.

    Batch No. 007 of Tamdhu Batch Strength single malt is a fruity, nutty whisky that has been matured exclusively in sherry casks. Aromas of cinnamon, oak, vanilla sponge and praline fill the nose, complemented by notes of baked figs, baking spices, pavlova, raspberries, caramelised apricots, oak and ripe clementines throughout the palate.
