The Lakes The One Sherry Cask Finished 70cl, 46.6%
A limited edition bottling of The One from The Lakes Distillery, which has enjoyed a finishing period in a combination of first-fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks, imparting oodles of dried fruit notes, with a good emphasis on spicy Spanish oak. As ever, the blend is brilliantly crafted with the distillery’s own single malt alongside whiskies from across the British Isles.
The Lakes The One Fine Blended 70cl, 46.6%
A tasty blended whisky from The Lakes Distillery, featuring its very own English single malt at its heart, alongside single malt and grain whiskies from Scotland. No chill-filtration or additional colourings here.

Blended Malt 21 Year Old Batch 3 That Boutique-y Whisky Company (50cl, 47%)
A tremendous 21-year-old Speysider, this is a teaspooned whisky, meaning the majority of the liquid hails from a single undisclosed distillery, blended with just a smidge of whisky from elsewhere. The blend was bottled up by That Boutique-y Whisky Company to join its Cinema Series, and with heaps of sweet fruit and honeyed barley to discover, it’ll be far better than pic ‘n mix with your next film night.
Batch 3 is a release of 198 bottles.
Burnt Ends Blended Whiskey Small Batch Peated & Sherry Cask Finish (50cl, 45%)
Burnt ends – the sleeper hit of the barbecue world. Your brain might jump to Flintstone-sized racks of ribs and piles of pulled pork when barbecue is brought up, but those charred, smoky morsels are hard to beat. With that in mind, behold, Burnt Ends Blended Whisky! Inspired by the tasty goods served at the barbecue joints of the USA, this rich, meaty expression brings together Tennessee rye whiskey and sherry cask-finished peated single malt Scotch whisky, all within a bottle that looks like it should hold barbecue sauce. It’s meaty, smoky, rich and satisfying stuff.

Compass Box Stranger & Stranger (70cl, 46%)
A very interesting spirit produced by Compass Box in honour of their long term collaborators, design company Stranger and Stranger.
This bottling is technically not a whisky, as it contains 1% “sacrificial spirit”: wheat and barley distillate from Girvan distillery that had been used to season experimental new American oak barrels for a year, before a brief period in refill hogsheads. As it is under 3 years old, it cannot be considered a whisky. Compass Box state that the spirit had an intensely woody character with plenty of vanilla flavour.
The remaining 99% of the blend is taken from Glenlossie, Glen Elgin and Linkwood, with the whisky aged between 17 and 22 years old. Glenlossie provides 80%, drawn from a re-charred Hogshead. 14% is taken from re-charred barrels from Glen Elgin, whilst Linkwood provides just 5%, from a sherry butt.
The whisky is fruity and floral, with powerful notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, alongside juicy citrus and apples, with some slight cut grass, a hint of mint, burnt sugar, vanilla custard, a touch of sweet wine and sultana, with a faint bright oak sweetness.
Bottled at 46% ABV, and without out chill filtration or colouration, this blend enjoys a full body.
The label is based upon Stranger & Stranger’s logo, altered with their trademark creativity.
Less than 5,000 bottles were released.

Compass Box has gone and got all artsy for this expression – Compass Box Canvas! It’s a fabulous blended malt Scotch whisky, made with single malts from Tomatin, Glenburgie, Glen Elgin, and the closed Imperial Distillery. Interestingly, a portion of the single malt from Tomatin has been finished in casks that were seasoned with Vino Naranja, which is a Spanish fortified wine that is infused with orange peel. As a result, this expression boasts a brilliantly fruity flavour profile, perfect for enjoying while the sun sets.

Compass Box Great King Street Glasgow Blend (70cl, 43%)
Introduced to the Great King Street range by Compass Box in 2014, the Glasgow Blend is a superbly full-bodied blended Scotch whisky. It’s made with 33% Lowland grain whisky and 67% malt whisky from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay, aged in a combination of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon barrels and first-fill Sherry casks, with a small portion being finished in new French oak. Plentiful amounts of Sherried fruit touches surrounding a core of peaty notes – yummers.
Fun note: The label features a picture of The Wellington Statue outside of Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art, complete with traffic cone hat, said to be a symbol of the city’s sense of humour.
