Ca’ Florian is the heart of Tommasi, our oldest vineyards, and the intimate and coveted place that we have called home since 1902. There could be no better place to honor our humble beginnings and no better way to do it than by dedicating this single-vineyard to our top Amarone Riserva. Just next door to the house where our grandfather Giacomo settled, are the family’s first vineyards. Here, we have preserved every living memory of tradition, from the “marogne” dry-stone wall terraced vineyards with the pergola veronese trellising, to the withering of the grapes on the “arele”, the handmade bamboo racks. Each vintage counting less than 9,000 bottles, conveys the core values of timeless simplicity and elegance in our winemaking. Forget it in the cellar for an unforgettable moment in a decade or two.

    Mas La Plana Estate

Located in the heart of the Penedès, in the Turons de Vilafranca sub-region, and bordered by the Foix River and the LlitrĂ  stream, the 29-hectare vineyard is spread over ten plots and two levels, with clayey soils in the lower reaches and predominantly marl in the upper reaches. Here, the old Cabernet vines, planted in the 1960s, have taken root well and produce balanced wines, also influenced by the Mediterranean climate. Mas La Plana is now a vibrant natural ecosystem thanks to regenerative viticulture, which aims to restore the soil’s natural fertility, prevent erosion, and promote biodiversity, while increasing the vineyard’s capacity to absorb atmospheric CO2, thus contributing to the fight against climate change.

    DO Penedès

With 2,700 years of winemaking history behind it, making it the oldest wine-growing region in Catalonia, the Penedès DO is wide and open, stretching across a stretch of land between the sea and the mountains, halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona. The influence of the Mediterranean sun and sea makes the Penedès a privileged territory for grape growing. This uniqueness gives rise to the diversity of Penedès DO wines. A thousand flavors and aromas are the result of the differences in climate, landscape, and soil.

    THE LEGEND DRESSED IN BLACK

The fruit of Miguel A. Torres’ vision and determination, Mas La Plana burst onto the international scene in 1979 when, with its first 1970 vintage, it defeated the world’s leading Cabernets at the Gault & Millau Wine Olympics, held in Paris. Thus was born the legend of a wine that represented a paradigm shift at the time and set the course for producing superior wines from our own vineyards. Over time, it has evolved to reach its peak of expression today, thanks to the strong roots and balance of the old Cabernet vines.

    Miguel Torres Anthology

The Miguel Torres Anthology encapsulates our essence as the Torres Family and represents the harmonious union of nature and the expertise of our winemakers. These are our most iconic wines, selected for their unique origins and exclusive production. Five wines share a common theme, faithfully representing the vineyard where they are born and the effort to give each one a unique identity.

Trinidad Distillers 2006 Transcontinental Rum Line

Trinidad Distillers is the production facility for the Angostura brand. It was built by the company in 1947 to produce rum for its world-famous bitters, in addition to distilling bulk product for export. The distillery’s original set up was a single Savalle column still, however this was replaced with a five-column still in 1975, following investment from Bacardi who required more bulk rum. Two more of these multi-column stills were added in 1985 and 1999. Some experimentation briefly took place with a Vendome pot still in the early 2000s as well, however this was quickly sold to St Lucia Distillers by their shared parent company at the time, CL Financial. The company was forced to divest much of its rum portfolio following the financial crash in 2007, but retains a majority stake in Angostura after it was bailed out by the local government to prevent what it felt was a national treasure being lost to foreign ownership. Trinidad Distillers remains one of the largest rum distilleries in the Caribbean, producing around 8.5 million litres per year.

A 9 year old was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2018 by La Maison du Whisky after 7 years tropical and nearly 5 years continental ageing.

La Maison du Whisky, aka LMDW, was founded in 1956 by Georges Benitah and is now one of the largest whisky and rum importers and distributors in France, and known the world over. They opened their first shop in Paris at the legendary 20 Rue d’Anjou in 1968, importing their first Scotch malt whiskies in the 1970s. Original price was: €215.Current price is: €199.

Trump Premium Vodka is created in Holland by the Wanders Distillers distillery, distilled from select European wheat five distillations four of them in activated carbon, and then rested for six months in stainless steel vats, this Premium vodka belongs to the billionaire and EX US president, Donald Trump.

In 2005, Drinks Americas signed with Donald Trump to promote a new brand of vodka which became known as Trump Vodka. The brand was launched with the slogan “Success Distilled”, with Trump predicting it would outsell Grey Goose vodka. He also said that when mixed with tonic, which he referred to as a “Trump & Tonic” (T&T), it would become the most drunk cocktail in the United States.

The Trump Vodka brand was discontinued in the United States in 2011 due to sales failing to meet the company threshold requirements. Several reasons were attributed for this. One was because Trump himself is a non-drinker and never drank Trump Vodka, as he blamed alcohol for the death of his brother Fred Trump, Jr. Drinks Americas also had problems producing it because the glass used in the bottles and the gold leaf labels were expensive and the company could not afford to produce them in large numbers. In 2015, during his campaign for president, Trump did not include Trump Vodka amongst assets submitted to the Federal Election Committee.

Distiller’s Choice 2021” is a distillate of the 2017 harvest, matured for three years in barrels #38 and #39.
These are spirit, heavy-toasted, French barrels of a capacity of 200 litres, which are used for the first time.
The French barrels used by the Kardasi Distillery are also usually included in the blending process of the “kardasi tsipouro aged” along with American barrels maturing in the family cellar under controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
The content of these barrels has been selected by the distiller and filled into 536 bottles.
The primary floral aromas of the distillate were enriched with the fine aromas of French oak.
The final product is a fine, fatty, buttery distillate with the characteristic aromas of citrus, roasted nuts, spices, dried plum, and a slightly sweet cinnamon aftertaste.
The elegant, luxury case was especially designed for these 536 bottles, since this distillate was launched in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Kardasi Distillery.

This is a 2010 release of Tullamore Dew 10 year old single malt Irish whisky.

TULLAMORE DEW 10 Y.O Single Malt

TULLAMORE DEW 10 Y.O Single Malt. Tullamore dew 10 contain 70cl and 40% abv.

This whisky is blend malts aged in old bourbon, port, madeira and sherry casks. This makes the 10 Year Old Single Malt not only the sole whiskey in Ireland to bring together whiskey from four different types of used barrels, but the only single malt of its kind anywhere insofar as I am aware.

In the glass, the TULLAMORE 10 Year Old Single Malt has the look of a deep golden honey, a far cry from the typical paleness of young and middle-aged Irish whiskeys. The nose has a certain lush sweetness and fruitiness to it, where a sort of sweet and sour red fruits note blends with hints of vanilla and caramel, presumably all from the port and madiera casks on the one hand and the bourbon barrels on the other. There is also a dollop of toasty oak in there, along with a dash of drying tobacco. Overall, the look and scent of the whiskey are very fetching, and the aroma in particular comes across as having a lot of complexity for a 10 Year Old.

On the palate, the Tullamore Dew 10 Year Old Single Malt brings over all the notes of the nose in bold, but not overpowering fashion. There is a bit of pepperiness there, but that is the only surprise. Everything about this whiskey is quite mild, but there is no chasing for the wine, bourbon, and malt flavors. Everything is right there and easily found, both balanced and a somewhat sophisticated. In keeping with Tullamore Dew, the whiskey is more sweet than anything else. The finish winds down from that new spicy note, into a long and mild warmth.

A rare chance to acquire a piece of Irish Whiskey history. This 12 year old ‘The Legendary’ Tullamore Dew bottling comes from a bygone era, and is a very special drop!
Tullamore Dew 12 Year Old Special Reserve is a carefully composed blend of old Irish whiskey. It is full of deep aromas. The whiskey is very mature and has its unique character. A sweet, spicy aftertaste rich in woody notes hits us immediately when drinking this exceptional drink. This alcohol owes a lot to, among other things, the fact that it matured in a Bourbon barrel. Tullamore Dew 12 Year is a complex whiskey, well-spiced, but also mild. In the end, the drink is pleasantly dry, slightly lemony and sweet.
