Distilled at Springbank in December 1989, this single malt was matured for 12 years in a refill sherry and a further 2 years in fresh port pipes.
It was bottled as a 14 year old as part of Springbank’s ‘Wood Expressions’ range of whiskies.
A 1989 vintage official bottling of Springbank. The distillery uses a wide range of woods in the maturation and this one comes from port pipes. This was distilled in the year full scale production restarted after a decade hiatus.
