The wine path of longtime friends and partners Johan du Tua and Oliver Kirsten began in 2004 when they founded their first winery, The Juno Wine Company. The second company, The Grape Grinder , was opened in 2010 with the sole purpose of creating superb, customer-oriented wines and award-winning professionals. Over the past 13 years, friends have established contacts with the owners of the best vineyards in the Western Cape to get the most valuable grapes for making their drinks. Their choice of partners has always been based on the importance of social responsibility, sustainable work and agricultural methods. This led to the creation of a series of wines that received numerous awards for organoleptic characteristics and packaging.
