Following their 1981 Vintage Single Cask, Tomintoul have dug out an even older single malt whisky, this one coming from April 1977! After a lengthy maturation in a sherry cask, the whisky was bottled in June 2015, without chill-filtration or colouring, with an outrun of 470 beautiful bottles, which come in rather handsome presentation boxes.

This particular bottling is unique as they use hand selected casks of whisky from 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005, before been melded together and bottled in 2015. Coming in at an impressive 50% and one of only 5230 bottles, this is definitely one for fans of Speyside whisky.

A limited-edition single malt from Tomintoul, Seiridh was matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being finished in first-fill oloroso sherry casks from Andalucia, Spain. Rich aromas of sultana, butterscotch and candied pecans fill the nose. The palate offers notes of sweet dried figs, Christmas cake and cedar spice, developing hints of chocolate-covered raisins, dried fruit and liquorice that linger in the finish.
