The 2022-release of Bladnoch 19 Year Old is a fruity, spicy single malt that was matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Aromas of black liquorice, honeysuckle and peppery oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of dried apricots, nutmeg, almonds and liquorice throughout the palate.

Bladnoch 30 Year Old Release 2023 70cl, 45.5%
Introducing the oldest Bladnoch’s release, a 30-year-old Single Malt Scotch whisky matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and Moscatel casks.
Made from two exceptional and rare casks, the Bladnoch 30-year-old Release is matured in a combination of Oloroso and Moscatel Sherry casks. The exquisite whisky imparts floral notes with dried apricots and nutmeg. On the palate, you can expect a rich almond and marzipan flavour along with Seville oranges, the finish is surprisingly light and fruity with a hint of cracked black pepper.
Limited to a 950-bottle release worldwide.
Bladnoch Alinta 70cl, 47%
Smoky single malt from the Bladnoch Distillery here, dubbed Alinta, after the indigenous Australian word found in several Southern Australian languages for “fire” and “flames”. You can see the connection there – smoky whisky, “fire”. This expression was drawn from a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, making for a richly-flavoursome whisky.
Bladnoch Samsara 70cl, 46.7%
The first of three new releases from Bladnoch in early 2017 to celebrate the reopening of this Lowland distillery. Although it doesn’t carry an age statement, it’s said to be made up of whiskies that are a minimum or 8 years old and well as older, rarer whiskies. First fill Californian red wine and bourbon casks were used for maturation, whilst ‘Samsara’ appropriately enough means ‘rebirth’.

Talia is a fab single malt from the Lowland distillery which has enjoyed its maturation in a combination of Oloroso sherry and Californian red wine casks, bringing oodles of fruit notes to the table, while keeping the classic Bladnoch grassiness at the heart of the dram.
Bladnoch The Ageing Dragon Series Iteration IV 70cl, 51.5%
The fourth release from Bladnoch’s Dragon series was matured in both ex-red wine hogsheads and first-fill bourbon casks stored in the coldest parts of the distillery’s warehouses. You can expect notes of polished oak and honey on the palate, followed by sweet oak, blackberries, and warm spices.

The third release from Bladnoch’s limited Dragon series celebrates the craft of coopering. Drawing flavours from first-fill bourbon barrels and sherry casks, this expression offers a delightful blend of cinnamon and root ginger with a subtle citrus undertone. On the palate, the influence of the casks displays notes of raisins and toffee popcorn.

The Decision is the final addition to the Bladnoch Dragon series quintet, displaying the distillery’s blending expertise. This limited release has been matured in Hungarian Tokaji wine and Spanish Canasta sherry casks, resulting in a rich and complex flavour profile. You can expect notes of coffee cream, crushed red grapes and apricots with a subtle hint of nutmeg.

The Field is the first release of Bladnoch’s Dragon series and celebrates the yearly barley harvest. This limited edition was matured in refill bourbon barrels, offering minimal cask influence, and enabling the distinctive qualities of the barley to come to the forefront with refreshing and sweet flavours of toasted malt, citrus apples, and creamy shortbread throughout the palate.
