Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release 2022 (70cl, 57.3%)
Flames of the Phoenix’ is an appropriate theme for the 2022 Special Release bottling of Lagavulin, as it was designed to be the most phenolic Lagavulin yet. Bunnahabhain 40 Year Old 2018 Release 70cl, 41.9%
Four long decades have crawled by as this precious whisky slowly and silently matured within our warehouses by the sea. Indeed, the casks that this whisky was maturing in were all but forgotten, until our blending team discovered them whilst reviewing the warehouse ledgers. Sourced from the legendary wines and spirit merchant, J.G Turney, these casks have been home to this stunning whisky for the past forty years.
This unique 40 Year Old is as rare as it is prized – if you’re ever lucky enough to hold one, be gentle, you’re holding a piece of history! As with all our single malt whiskies, this is non-chill filtered and natural colour.
The pinnacle of the Bunnahabhain range, aged for 40 long years: a piece of distillery history. A combination of casks ‘found’ in the warehouse by the master blender (as is so often the case), these long-aged whiskies were vatted to create this rich, deep and complex dram. A showcase of the best of Bunnahabhain.

INTRODUCING THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE IAN HUNTER STORY
A COLLECTIBLE SERIES OF LAPHROAIG® AGED WHISKIES
Introducing the third release in our Ian Hunter series: a 33-year-old non-chill altered whisky with creamy liquorice notes, fully matured in ex-Bourbon barrels so that Laphroaig‘s characteristic peatiness shines through.
The third release of the Ian Hunter Series is to celebrate the legacy of the last of the Johnston family to own and manage the Laphroaig® distillery, and his fight to protect the Kilbride Stream. Aromas of pears, peaches, honey, rose petals, nutmeg and ashy peat smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of stewed apples, aniseed, creamy liquorice and acrid peat throughout the palate.
