Talisker Port Ruighe (70cl, 45.8%)
You can spend years waiting for a new release in Talisker’s core range then two come along at once! Hot on the heels of Talisker Storm in early 2013 comes Talisker’s Port Ruighe, pronounced ‘Port Ree’.
This no age statement release is finished in Port wine casks, imparting a new dimension to this Isle of Skye single malt.
Talisker Neist Point 70cl, 45.8%
Initially launched for travel retail, Talisker Neist Point is named after Skye’s most westerly point with the lighthouse depicted on the fold out box. Talisker Dark Storm (1L, 45.8%)
Originally released for the Travel Retail market, Talisker’s Dark Storm is matured in heavily charred oak casks, imparting yet more smoke and spice to the already intensely smoky whisky. A fantastic release from the distillery on the Isle of Skye.
Talisker 57° North (70cl, 57%)
A distillery-bottled cask strength Talisker, 57° North is deceptively smooth for a whisky at this strength, but still a muscular presence on the palate, with the pepper and chilli Talisker hallmarks very much in evidence. Picked up the top prize in its category (Best Island No Age) at the World Whisky Awards 2012.

Scapa 16 Year Old (70cl, 40%)
Scapa released this 16 year old expression in 2008 to replace the popular 14 year old. Highly regarded in its time, the 16 year old was discontinued in 2015.
The initially controversial 16yo official expression of Scapa is now winning people round with a jump in quality after a few wobbly years following the rapid transition from the much-loved 12yo via the short-lived 14yo. Orkney’s less shouted about (but still lovely in its own way) malt whisky has found its feet
Scapa 14 Year Old 70cl, 40%
From a tiny distillery in Orkney, Scapa is often overlooked in favour of its more famous neighbour Highland Park. This 14yo was quite a shortlived bottling -it was introduced by then new owners Chivas Brothers to replace the old 12yo, but was subsequently superseded by the now-familiar 16 year old standard official bottling.
Ledaig Rioja Cask Finish Sinclair Series 70cl, 46.3%
The first release in Tobermory distillery’s Sinclair Series, this smoky Ledaig single malt has been made with heavily-peated barley and finished in hand-selected Rioja casks.
