The Hennessy distillery is based in Cognac, France. The company was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy and is now run by the eighth generation. The officer emigrated from Ireland to Cognac and founded the company “Jas Hennessy & Co” at that time. The cognac of Richard Hennessy quickly gained a high reputation and became known worldwide.
For the production the own grown grapes from the region of Cognac are used. After double distillation in copper stills, pure eaux-de-vie is produced, which serves as the basis for the cognacs.

This bottling was launched in 2015, on the 250th anniversary of the House of Hennessys, to pay homage to James Hennessy, the eldest son, Richard Hennessys.
James Hennessy is a true adventurer and constantly tries to expand his horizons by travelling.

To give this blend an additional new touch, a collaboration with the international designer Marc Newson was entered. (automated translation)

Hardy Noces de Perle Grande Champagne Cognac XO

It is a blend of 10 different Cognacs that comes exclusively from the Premier Cru of the Cognac region: the Grande Champagne.

Grape Varieties: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard

Art Nouveau crystal carafe. Soft, rounded and feminine 30-year-old Grande Champagne Cognac. The foremost expression of prestige in the wedding anniversaries series.

Bordered to the north by the Charente, to the south and west by the Né and to the east by the roads from Barbezieux to Châteauneuf and from Châteauneuf to Saint-Même. Named for the clay-limestone nature of its soils on the surface, complemented by soft chalky limestone in the subsoil. The clays give the soil structure, high fertility and good water retention. These soils are therefore not very sensitive to drought, the subsoil acting as a sponge through which water can slowly rise as the summer drought worsens. It is this cru that produces the finest, most delicate, cleanest and most aromatic eaux-de-vie, and those that improve the most with age. When you taste them, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that the glass retains the delicious scent and aroma of the cognac it once contained.

Noces de Perle, is a harmonious blend of ten different Cognac’s from the highly sought after Grande Champagne region. Containing a blend of eaux-de-vie aged thirty, fifty, sixty years and more the times of the past are effortlessly bought into the present with this expert craft. Savour and appreciate the remarkable palate this blend offers.

Aged for a minimum of 30 years in Limousin oak casks, Hardy’s reputation of undeniable expertise is evident within every drop of this production. One for the connoisseurs to enjoy and savour with a great impression.
