A grape brandy from Cyprus made with Cypriot Xynisteri grapes that’s aged for at least 15 years. It takes its name from a banquet that took place in London in 1363 at which the illustrious guests (the Kings of England, France, Scotland, Denmark and Cyprus) were served brandy that their host Mayor Henry Pickard had shipped over specially from the Troodos mountain range in Cyprus.

A well aged VSOP brandy produced in Cyprus by KEO, the largest Cypriot beverage supplier. Double distilled in copper pot stills, this is matured in French Limousin oak casks.
A Dutch vodka produced at a distillery owned by a family-run business which was started in 1691. This was released in the UK in 1999 and has a great flavour profile.
Kidonitsa Aslanis Winery might not come from Laconia but from Michaniona, but that does not stop it from being a typical version of the variety, expressive and extremely enjoyable.
Aslani Winery is a family business since every member of the family has its position and role from production to marketing and accounting. The privately owned vineyards of the estate are spread on a beautiful piece of land, in Nea Michaniona, Thessaloniki and are organically cultivated. Laskaris’s (the father of the family) passion is hidden in every wine of the estate and Kidonitsa is one of his new great loves. The perfect ripening of the grapes is followed by careful vinification with short extraction and maturation with the lees contact for a few months. This is the reason for the expressiveness of the wine and the purity of the fruit that characterizes it.

The 12th edition of Kilchoman 100% Islay is a single-farm single malt, made with Islay-grown barley from a single farm that is malted and distilled on Islay, before being matured in 29 ex-bourbon barrels and six oloroso sherry butts for at least eight years. Batch Strength from Islay’s Kilchoman is bottled at a hearty 57% ABV. The peated single malt is matured in a combo of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts, and bourbon barrels, imparting rich notes of caramel and spiced dark fruit to the zesty, smoky malt at its core.
A limited-edition single malt from Kilchoman, Casado takes its name from the Portuguese word for marriage. Initially matured in 38 first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, it was then married in a pair of Portuguese red wine vats for two years before it was bottled. Aromas of intense campfire smoke, ripe plums, cherries, peaches, marzipan and sea spray fill the nose, complemented by notes of black pepper, salty peat smoke, apricot, lemon, stewed plums, apricot jam and rich smoke throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
unusual release from Kilchoman, this isn’t a finish, instead it’s entirely matured in 300 litre Cognac casks which come from Tonellerie Bossuet. Kilchoman used a 50ppm heavily-peated new-make spirit, which then went into 32 300 litre French oak casks for a minimum of six years. The result was bottled at 50% ABV with no colour or chill-filtering.
Something you don’t see everyday, an Islay single malt entirely aged in fino sherry casks. Kilchoman founder Anthony sourced 20 fino sherry butts from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin in Jerez to mature his whisky in. This release spent a minimum of five years ageing before bottling in 2023 at 50% ABV. Fino, the lightest and freshest style of sherry, imparts quite different flavours to the more commonly seen oloroso or PX. So there will be no dried fruit or big spices here, thank you very much. Instead think of fresh apples, almonds and a salty note that perfectly compliments the smoky Kilchoman character.
The 2023-release of Kilchoman Loch Gorm single malt has been matured in a combination of 20 first-fill oloroso sherry casks and two refill oloroso sherry casks for at least eight years, before being bottled in 2023. Aromas of sweet pipe smoke, ripe strawberries, candied lemon peel, orange blossom, toffee and clove fill the nose, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, toasted walnuts, tobacco smoke, caramel, dates, liquorice, earthy peat smoke and cinnamon throughout the palate.
The sought-after Loch Gorm releases are named after the body of water overlooked by Kilchoman distillery. This 2024 edition was matured exclusively in oloroso sherry butts from Bodega José y Miguel Martín and offers a rich and smoky treat for Islay whisky fans. You can expect waves of barbeque smoke on the nose, which are met with cacao nibs and figs. The peat persists on the palate and is punctuated by honey roasted cashews, cinnamon and salted toffee.
Kilchoman’s ongoing Machir Bay is a vatting of whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks for around six years, married and then finished in oloroso sherry butts before bottling.
This 2023-release from Kilchoman was exclusively matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, bringing a rich, sweet character to its peated malt. There are aromas of raisin and peat smoke stacked on top of each other with notes of candied citrus, dark chocolate, Manuka honey and salty peat smoke on the palate.
Here is the 2023 release from Kilchoman of its Sherry Cask Matured whisky, this time exclusively matured in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks. It was bottled at 50% ABV and you can expect lots of dark and sweet fruit, creamy nutty notes, and aromatic spice to interplay with the coastal Islay smoke.
Originally released in France, Sanaig was given a wider release in 2016. Aged in a combination of oloroso-sherry and bourbon casks, this shows excellent balance between peat smoke and sweet citrus flavours.
This cask-strength expression of Kilchoman’s vibrant peated spirit amps up the proportion of sherry casks used in its maturation, adding notes of rich chocolate into its citrus and elegant smoke.

This expression spent its full maturation (a minimum of five years) in a host of fresh and refill sauternes sweet wine casks selected by Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills to achieve a perfect balance of buttery sweetness, grilled fruit, sweet spice, and floral peat.
The excellent Kilchoman Small Batch Release is a limited edition whisky that uses the finest casks available for maturation. This exclusive small batch release includes some whiskies matured in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and STR casks.
STR casks are an innovation not found in many distilleries and were created by the late Jim Swan. The abbreviation stands for ‘shaved, toasted and recharred’.
Each cask previously contained red wine, and to tame some of the overpowering red wine flavours, the casks are shaved on the inside to expose the active wood. This is then toasted to break down the harder oak elements such as cellulose. The barrel is then charred to create an active charring layer that improves the interaction with the maturing spirit.
The bottles were bottled at 48,7 % alcohol and no chill filtration or colouring was used in the production process. The whisky is presented in a gift box.
The second release in the Kilkerran Work in Progress series. Bottles will be released at regular intervals until the whisky finally reaches full maturity. It’s a great way of watching the whisky develop. This June 2010 edition is part of a release of 15,000 bottles.

Kinahan’s has introduced The Kasc Project, which aims to delve into the unknown regarding whiskey making, using hybrid casks (kascs?). Each cask has been constructed from five different types of wood, including Portuguese, American, French and Hungarian oak, as well as chestnut. The result is a complex blend marrying all different types of cask. Innovative stuff from Ireland.
One of the world’s best-known small-batch bourbons, this Jim Beam-produced expression is named for the part of Kentucky where Abraham Lincoln spent his formative years it’s known for its spicy nose and notes of toasty oak and nut oil.
Tasting Notes

This 21 Year-Old Single Malt results from a careful selection of the best casks from Knockando’s warehouse. The three types of casks selected for its maturation (first fill and refill Bourbon barrels and a Sherry cask) accounts for its silkiness and incredible mellow sensation, underlined by delicate red fruit flavours.
The Classic Malt Selection offers an amazing journey around Scotland, to discover the main malt whisky-producing regions. Each one of them expresses the genuine character of its land of origin, through unique aromas and temper. For each Single Malt, spring water, soil and time work their magic to bottle the very essence of a land.
A rather stylish gin all the way from German, named after Knut Hansen – a sailor who seemingly had fine facial hair, a selection of tattoos and the most striking baby-blue eyes you’ve ever seen. The gin itself is made using a selection of 14 botanicals, notably apple, basil and cucumber.
Tequila Komos is made at the Orendain distillery in the town of Tequila and utilizes primarily wine barrels, for their ultra-luxury aged Tequila expressions. All of the expressions are gently aerated in greek wine amphorae, tying the Mediterranean focus of the brand, back to the process itself. Each of the beautiful opaque ceramic bottles is handmade to preserve the aromas and flavors inside of it.
Over in Sweden, the folks behind Kopparberg cider took its hallmark flavours of strawberry and lime, and harnessed their deliciousness into this wonderful gin! Alongside juniper, lemon zest and coriander, the two eponymous botanicals are infused into the spirit. Both lemonade and tonic are ace with this one!
A blended malt from the Shinobu range, Koshi-No is initially matured in a duo of bourbon and sherry casks. It’s then transferred to Japanese Mizanura oak for a finishing period before bottling at 43% ABV. A wonderful combo of red fruit, citrus and wood influence.

Cyprus was a leading sugar producer in the middle-ages, “sweet salt” as it was known at the time, with some of the sugar mills surviving to this day at Kolossi, Potamia, and Kouklia. Small sugarcane plantations exist on the island today, offering us the sugarcane juice we used for the production of our Kourouna Rum.
Our Kourouna aged rum is a captivating blend of deep, rich flavors developed through years of aging in charred oak barrels. With a striking mahogany hue, it boasts inviting aromas of caramel, vanilla, and warm spices, layered with notes of dried fruits.

A dark spiced Caribbean rum introduced to the UK in Spring 2010, Kraken’s old-style bottle and superlative packaging seem to earmark it out for greatness, and perhaps it will help some of those many thousands of punters nursing an old-recipe-Sailor-Jerry-sized hole in their hearts.
The Rum Kraken is as dark and mysterious as the beast itself, we gathered the information about this spiced rum from the rescued sailors who survived the attack on the Kraken ! In order to see more clearly, this pack contains a 1L bottle of Kraken as well as a candle with the effigy of the tentacles of the Kraken.
Dark red with distinct brown highlights. Dense nose with pepper and chocolate, coffee, butter, ink, smoke and vanilla. Soft and velvety mouth-feel, with acidity offering nerve and a pleasant, long lasting aftertaste.
Lemon bright color, and nose expressing charmingly through aromas of lemon blossoms and jasmine, white flesh peach and pineapple, lychee and basil. Mouth fruity, fresh and crisp, with volume and long-lasting finish.
A luscious blend of three Greek indigenous red varieties: Limnio, Mavroudi and Mavrotragano. Limnio, mentioned by comic dramatist Aristophanes as “Limnia ampelos” in the 5th century BC (vine from the Greek island Limnos), is the oldest attested Greek grape variety and predominates in this blend.
Following extraction and completion of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in special oak tanks from Burgundy, , the wine matures in French oak barrels.
It has a brilliant, deep-red colour and a complex bouquet of ripe dark fruits (raspberries), raisins, coffee and cacao.
This wine is entirely produced from the Greek grape variety of Malagousia, which was saved from extinction due to the efforts of Vangelis Gerovassiliou.
Following skin contact in cold, vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks at 18 °C, while some is vinified in French oak barrels. The wine is left with its lees for a number of months to gain structure and body. It has a brilliant straw colour with greenish shades and an aroma of matured fruit such as pear, mango and citrus.
The grapes are sourced primarily from contract growers of the crus of Agios Panteleimon within the Amyndeon Appellation in Northwestern Greece. Sprawling at an altitude of 600m on poor sandy soil, the vineyards reach yields that rarely exceed 40 hl/ha. The area is marked by cold winters and warm summers, but the four surrounding lakes create a unique mild mesoclimate. As a result, we get high fruit concentration and ripeness with exquisitely complex and rich aromas.
Amyndeon had a heavy winter with very low temperatures. April had very low temperatures as well and in May we had some hail, which damaged some plants – production therefore was lower than usual. Summer however was very dry and warm and the abundance of rain helped us get earlier ripening and very healthy crop. 2017 will be a very aromatic year for the Amyndeon whites. Xinomavro too, is expected to give excellent results.
Grape Varieties: 47% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Kol
From the privately owned vineyards at Kokkinomylos and Avlotopi (Arcadia, Greece), on the hillsides at the foot of Mount Parnon at an altitude of 750 meters. Harvest takes place in mid-September (Merlot) and early October (Cabernet Sauvignon).

A combination of ripe red and black fruit aromas, eucalyptus and chocolate with a rich,
concentrated and velvet mouthfeel, followed by a long aftertaste It can be aged for 10 to
15 years.
Selected vineyards from the communes of Rizes, Lithovounia and Agiorgitika (Arcadia, Greece). The continental climatic conditions and the altitude of the area, lead to the gradual maturing of the grapes, the full development of the aroma potential of the variety and the retaining of natural acidity of the moschofilero grape variety.
Grape Variety: Chardonnay
Aromatic character of great complexity with varied aromas reminiscent of apricot,
nectarine and pineapple, accompanied by a particularly rich, balanced, mouthfeel.
Vineyard
From the privately owned arcadian vineyard at Melissopetra with a unique slate soil composition. Yield is very low at 360 kilos of grape per 1.000 sq.m. and harvesting begins in early September.
Wine and Wine-making
The grapes are crushed in pneumatic presses, clarified and fermented in stainless tanks with controlled temperature (13o-16o C) for up to 20 days. Skin contact at 10o C for 8 hours.
Classic red winemaking with short skin contact for 5-6 days, and maturation for 8-10 months in used French oak barrels.
A wine with pronounced aromas of red fruits, nuts and sweet spices with a vanilla finish. Dry, with balanced acidity, and soft, velvety tannins. It can be consumed pleasantly young but it can also age from 3 to 5 years.
Meat dishes with light red sauces, white meats (eg. chicken with hilopites), giouvetsi with eggplant purée, octopus cooked in vinegar.
The 12 year old Kurayoshi expression – a blended malt from the little-known Matsui Shuzou distillery in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture. These whiskies are made with malts sources from Scotland, then blended with Japanese whisky and volcanic-rock-filtered water.
This sherried expression from the Kurayoshi range, created by little-known Japanese whisky producer Matsui Shuzou (also known for sake and shochu). These whiskies are blended malts, made with whiskies distilled in Scotland and shipped over to Japan, where they’re blended with Japanese whisky.
Juuri is a small batch unaged rye spirit from the newly founded Kyrö Distillery in Isokyrö, Finland by the “Fearless Rye Rye Whisky Distillers”. Jake says anyone making unaged rye in Finland is cool in his book, so these fearless distillers have made an impression on him already! Sweet and spicy on the nose, which grows and develops further on the palate with hints of liquorice, anise and spice rye bread.

A joven mezcal from La Herencia De Sánchez, made from the very popular Espadín agave. La Herencia De Sánchez translates to the ‘heritage of Sanchez’, we assume more specifically master distiller Romulo Sanchez Parada. This here is a fairly light mezcal, with sweet and spice alongside the hallmark smoky notes.

This is the second core range single malt released by Lagg distillery – which is named after a parish in the village of Lagg. Its peated malt and finishing period in ex-oloroso casks impart aromas of smoked walnut, spiced red berries and burnt chocolate on the nose, leading to notes of toasted oak, peat smoke and blackberry on the palate.
Excitingly, this is the flagship single malt and the first core range expression to be released from Lagg Distillery. We have been waiting for whisky from Arran’s Peated sister distillery for some time but here it is: Kilmory! It’s made from peated Concerto malted barley and water from the distillery’s own borehole and matured in first-fill bourbon casks in order to preserve the house style of the Lagg distillery. It was bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration, and with no added colouring.
The Lambertus 10 Years Single Grain Belgian Whiskey, aged for 10 years in Limousin oak barrels, is the sumptuous variation of the Lambertus Classic, created in memory of Lambert Radermacher, one of the founders of the distillery. The perfect balance between the roundness of the grain (rye & malted barley), tinged with the patina of time, and the subtlety of the wood gives it a unique richness and splendor.
