Collector’s Note
Balmenach 17 Year Old 2008 Cask Strength Collection Signatory Vintage has strong collector appeal because it is a limited single cask release from a respected independent bottler. The combination of Balmenach, first-fill Oloroso sherry butt maturation, cask number 3 and only 671 bottles gives the whisky a clear and collectible identity.
This bottle is especially attractive because Balmenach is less commonly seen than many larger Speyside names, making well-aged, sherried, cask-strength independent bottlings particularly interesting. Complete with its original Signatory Vintage presentation tube, it is a strong addition to a Speyside, sherry cask or Signatory Vintage collection.
