Metaxa 12 stars is created from wine distillates from the Greek holiday paradise, the island of Samos. In order to achieve as velvety as possible an aromatic fire, the now fifth Metaxa master distiller Constantinos Raptis offers all his craftsmanship while blending the Metaxas, which is up to 12 years old.

Metaxa 5 Star is a tribute to the art of winemaking, a combination of cask-aged brandy and muscat wine, blended with a traditional recipe of herbs and botanicals, including star anise and rose petals, which is then aged for 5 years. The flavour is bright and lively, with a floral nose of orange blossom and rose, followed by a palate of fruity peach, apricot, raisin and brioche. Yes, brioche. Once a year, the Metaxa Private Reserve is manufactured according to an old family recipe from the Spyros Metaxa family, crowning their work. But the winemaker Constantinos Raptis married well-matured muscatel wines with handpicked wine distillates that matured for at least 30 years in the Metaxa cellars.
