This is an exceptional bourbon finished in American brandy casks and thought to be the very first made. On the nose, honeyed sultanas, Amaretto and burnt sugar, while the palate sees notes of dried fruits with cinnamon and a hint of oily walnut. The finish has notes of mint leaves, toasted sesame and oranges.
