Tel Aviv’s Milk & Honey Distillery has released its very first single malt! Called the Classic expression, it was matured in bourbon and virgin oak casks as well as red wine-seasoned STR (shaved, toasted and recharred) casks. There’s a wonderful balance of hallmark honey notes alongside malt sweetness and rich chocolate. We can’t wait to see what else is to come from the team in Israel!

Description

Tasting Note

Nose: Ripe peach, dried fruit and well-baked flapjack, with waxy honey and floral oak.

Palate: Vanilla and honey sweetness leads into lemon curd and sweet porridge, with a dusting of bitter cocoa bringing balance.

Finish: Peppery oak lingers alongside barrel char and a balance of more honey and bitter dark chocolate.
