Tasting note:
Playful teasing malt, very distant carrot juice and evening primroses among other fruity and floral notes. The arrival doesn’t disappoint, with the malt expectedly leading the way with aplomb, in its wake soft spices stir and also an earthy oakiness, relatively simple code and mulch with a dash of licorice. Nose: Custard. Tropical fruits.
Palate: Fruit salad. Tangerines. Peaches. Trifle with milk chocolate chips.
Finish: Belgian wafers. The cinnamon scattered on a capuccino. Comment: This is a substantially richer style of Glenmorangie, but not overwhelmingly sweet. The balancing spices and herbs are all present and correct.
