Edradour 10 Year Old 200 Years Distillery Edition 70cl, 46%
Edradour 10 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Casks 200 Years Edition 70cl, 46%
The ten year old Edradour is handmade and one of the last Single Malt Whiskies from a traditional farm distillery still in production today. The methods of production remain virtually unchanged in the last 150 years and are only just capable of commercial quantities. Indeed Edradour Distillery makes as much whisky in a year as most distilleries produce in a week. A rare pleasure for a fortunate few.
Aged 100% in Oloroso Sherry casks. Unchillfiltered at 46% ABV.
A batch of 10-year-old single malt from Edradour bottled at a satisfying 46% ABV. Edradour is one of Scotland’s smallest distilleries and this rather unique single malt sits at the heart of its range , a decidedly rum-like dram with a thick mouthfeel. The distillery’s methods of production remain virtually unchanged in the last 150 years, and we can see why. If it ain’t broke and all that. This single whisky’s decade of ageing was spent in a combination of oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
