Tasting Note
Nose: Deep and inviting. Ripe orchard fruits—baked apple, poached pear—meld with honey drizzle and fresh beeswax. Warm vanilla custard, dried apricot, and hints of toasted coconut layer beneath. Faint citrus zest and subtle oak spice linger in the background.
Palate: Smooth and richly textured. Juicy stone fruits combine with creamy toffee, almond praline, and gentle cinnamon spice. A delicate nuttiness—hazelnut and marzipan—adds complexity, balanced by fresh malt sweetness and a whisper of dried herbs.
Finish: Long and mellow. Sweet barley, soft vanilla pod, and a touch of white pepper fade into lingering honeyed warmth and gentle oak tannins.
Overall: A sophisticated Highland malt—aged gracefully to balance luscious fruitiness with rich oak influence. Cask strength is measured, enhancing depth without harshness.
