Description
Tasting Note
Nose: Intense and vibrant. Rich cherry kirsch, ripe red berries, and dried figs mingle with warm sherry sweetness, dark chocolate, and hints of toasted oak. Spices—cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg—add complexity alongside a subtle vanilla undertone.
Palate: Full-bodied and powerful. Juicy cherry and plum combine with caramel toffee, almond praline, and a warming spice mix of cinnamon and black pepper. The 1st fill sherry cask delivers rich dried fruit notes balanced by a fresh malt backbone and a touch of citrus zest.
Finish: Long, warming, and slightly drying. Lingering notes of sherry sweetness, dark fruits, and gentle spice fade slowly, leaving a rich and satisfying aftertaste.
Overall: A bold and expressive Highland malt with impressive sherry influence. The high strength amplifies its rich fruit and spice complexity without overpowering its balance.
