Old Ballantruan 15 Year Old (70cl, 50%)
While the Tomintoul distillery is well-known for its laid-back expression (earning the nickname “the gentle dram”), it also produces a line of heavily-peated whiskies released under the Old Ballantruan name. This expression, launched in mid-2018, features smoky whisky matured for at least 15 years before bottling at 50% ABV.

Mortlach 16 Year Old (70cl, 43.4%)
Part of a trio of expressions announced in 2018 (which also included a 12 Year Old and a 20 Year Old), this 16 year old Mortlach single malt is drawn from sherry casks – the rich sweetness complements the intense spirit that the distillery is known for. Expect dark fruit, treacle and punchy Christmas spice notes from this one…
Mortlach 15 Year Old Six Kingdoms Game of Thrones (70cl, 46%)
Behold, the very final bottling in the Game of Thrones Single Malts Collection! We present to you Six Kingdoms, a beasty 15 Year Old Mortlach. Those of you who are all up to date with Game of Thrones lore (and if you aren’t, beware of spoilers ahead!) will remember that there were in fact, seven kingdoms in Westeros, but in the season finale the North became independent, taking the number down to six. The Speysider was matured in first-fill sherry casks, with a finish in American oak bourbon casks. The limited edition single malt is bottled at 46% ABV, presented in a metallic gold presentation tube, decorated with a pen and ink drawing of the mysterious three-eyed raven (aka Bran the Broken). The show may be over, but long may it live in the form of delicious whisky!
Mortlach 12 Year Old (70cl, 43.4%)
This is a 12 year old single malt produced at the Mortlach distillery in Speyside, unveiled in 2018 as part of a trio (including a 16 Year Old and a 20 Year Old). This particular expression features the subtitle The Wee Witchie, which comes from the name of the tiny still that distils a portion of the whisky. It’s drawn from bourbon and sherry casks, and packs a hearty punch of meaty Mortlach-y malt at its core, supported by dried fruit and toffee notes.
Mortlach 10 Year Old That Boutique-y Whisky Company 70cl, 45.8%
Mortlach 10yo TBWC
With over 10 years experience in the independent bottling industry, That Boutique-y Whisky Company has built a loyal following of whisky lovers across the globe. It’s always easy to spot its bottles on a shelf, thanks to their colourful graphic novel style labels designed by Emily Chappell, and now those designs are celebrated in the limited edition Label Editions series. This single malt hails from Mortlach and spent 10 years maturing, starting off in a refill hogshead and finishing in a rum cask. The Speyside-based distillery uses a traditional worm tub condenser which contributes to the robust, muscular character of its whisky and in turn, the nickname ‘Beast of Dufftown’ which is rather terrifyingly depicted on the label for this limited edition 700ml bottle.
A release of 445 bottles.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends, all adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels. The brand won Spirits Bottler of the Year at the 2023 Spirits Business Awards, and Blender of the Year went to Sam Simmons, captain of the Boutique-y clan who oversees every one of these releases.
Meikle Tòir The Sherry One (70cl, 48%)
Meikle Tòir The Sherry One is a peated whisky made at GlenAllachie Distillery using mainland peat from St. Fergus. The whisky was peated to 35ppm and benefited from a lengthy fermentation period of 160 hours to create a fruity, complex spirit that could stand up to ageing in sherry casks, which is exactly what it did. Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry puncheons, to be exact, following an initial maturation in American oak bourbon barrels. One for fans of smoke and sherry.
Meikle Tòir The Original (70cl, 50%)
The Meikle Tòir range (meaning ‘big pursuit’ and pronounced mee-kuhl tor) comprises peated whisky made at GlenAllachie Distillery with guidance from legendary master distiller Billy Walker. The Original is a single malt made with mainland peat from St. Fergus, a sweeter, grassier variety than found on the coast. The barley was peated to 35ppm and then the whisky was aged in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels, American virgin oak casks, and rye barrels. It was bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtration or additional colouring.
Meikle Tòir The Chinquapin One (70cl, 48%)
From the first series of whiskies by Meikle Tòir, a peated whisky brand made at GlenAllachie Distillery with the assistance of expert whisky maker Billy Walker, whose influence can certainly be seen here with this innovative cask profile. The single malt Scotch whisky, peated to 35ppm (using mainland St. Fergus peat, a sweeter variety than its coastal counterparts) and fermented for a lengthy 160 hours fermentation, was aged in American oak bourbon barrels followed by Chinquapin virgin oak casks, a bold barrel that imparts big, sweet, and rich flavours.

Macallan Travel Series 1950s Decades Fifties (50cl, 40%)
This bottle was created to mirror the style of Macallan from the 1950s, which is described as being of ‘intriguing depth’ and with a subtle hint of peat.
Part of a series launched for the Travel Retail market by Macallan in the late 1990s/early 2000s, this expression was created to reflect the flavours of their whiskies produced in the 1940s. Each bottle represents a different decade, from the 1920s when The Macallan was mainly used for blends, to the 1950s which saw sherry casks become available again following World War II.
