The Balvenie Madeira Cask is a lively and summery single malt finished in casks previously which previously held Madeira wine.
In historic times, ships set sail filled with casks of Madeira wine around the New World. Throughout their journey, casks were exposed to the heat of the sun, naturally sweetening the wine it held.
Malt Master David C. Stewart has enjoyed times exploring the Madeira region and wines they produce, inspiring his experimentation of the cask type for finishing.
This is not the first time David has used Madeira casks – previous expressions have been of older ages. This release has a lighter, livelier character.

Johnnie Walker Explorers’ Club Collection The Royal Route (1L, 40%)
The final addition to the Johnnie Walker Explorers’ Club Series – “The Royal Route” was launched in 2013 as a Travel Retail exclusive.

On the nose, there is a vast array of rich fruity flavours including apple, pear, fig and peach. Reflective of the beauty, rarity and exotic nature of the luxury goods that were exchanged on the royal trade route, it has an intense and complex flavour with notes of dried fruit and toffee, handsomely balanced with a subtle woody sweetness and a lingering wispy aromatic smoke. THE ROYAL ROUTE delivers far more depth of character, with richer, multiple layers on the palate.”This edition is inspired by the majestic history and the sights of the royal trading route, famed for bringing the luxuries of the world to the hands of Kings. The travelers’ tales of the legendary journeys that took place on this road, the precious silks, Persian ornaments, diamonds and pearls that were traded along it, inspired Jim Beveridge to create what is the most opulent variant in the series.

Trump Super Premium Vodka (75cl, 40%)
Trump Premium Vodka is created in Holland by the Wanders Distillers distillery, distilled from select European wheat five distillations four of them in activated carbon, and then rested for six months in stainless steel vats, this Premium vodka belongs to the billionaire and EX US president, Donald Trump.
In 2005, Drinks Americas signed with Donald Trump to promote a new brand of vodka which became known as Trump Vodka. The brand was launched with the slogan “Success Distilled”, with Trump predicting it would outsell Grey Goose vodka. He also said that when mixed with tonic, which he referred to as a “Trump & Tonic” (T&T), it would become the most drunk cocktail in the United States.
The Trump Vodka brand was discontinued in the United States in 2011 due to sales failing to meet the company threshold requirements. Several reasons were attributed for this. One was because Trump himself is a non-drinker and never drank Trump Vodka, as he blamed alcohol for the death of his brother Fred Trump, Jr. Drinks Americas also had problems producing it because the glass used in the bottles and the gold leaf labels were expensive and the company could not afford to produce them in large numbers. In 2015, during his campaign for president, Trump did not include Trump Vodka amongst assets submitted to the Federal Election Committee.
