Jack Daniels Tennessee Tasters’ Selection Barrel Reunion #1 release 2018 proof 90 37.5cl
€195As a whiskey maker and a barrel maker, we see the barrel not simply as a container but as an ingredient. This unique whiskey began with a hand-crafted barrel that matured Jack Daniel’s. Once emptied, it aged fine Tennessee red wine. Then, finally it returned home to finish a small batch of our Tennessee Whiskey and delivers a 90-proof whiskey. What emerges from this second barreling are notes of caramel and oak with whispers of cherry and blackberry. We think you will be intrigued by this new finish and celebrate with us the reunion of our barrel and whiskey.
Selected by Master Distiller and Master Taster Jeff Arnett.
A 375ml bottling of Jack Daniels finished in red wine barrels.

Jack Daniels Tin Piano Storage 2017 Edition (70cl, 40%)
€35The most recognizable bottle in the Jack Daniel’s family of whiskeys is the Black Label bottle. Accounting for almost 96% of Jack Daniel’s annual whiskey sales, today the Black Label brand is the #1 selling whiskey in the world with around 150 million bottles sold worldwide every year…
Not only has the Black Label bottle been available in three different proofs in the last 25 years, but each proof has also been offered in a variety of sizes…Along with the different whiskey proofs and bottle sizes, Jack Daniel’s occasionally makes changes to the look of their bottles as well…
In the spring of 2011, a change to the Black Label bottle was introduced. Though this design has not yet been named (UPDATE…currently being referred to as the Evo bottle), the new bottle’s shape is generally the same as the Heritage bottle, but with prominent corners and edges that emphasize the square look even more. What also makes this modification significant is that it was accompanied by a label change as well…

Jack Daniels Unaged Rye (75cl, 40%)
€299Original price was: €299.€279Current price is: €279.In December of 2012, Jack Daniel’s released an entirely new and exciting whiskey different from anything they had done before. Known as Unaged Tennessee Rye, this was the first time in over 100 years the Jack Daniel Distillery had used a new grain recipe. Made available to the public with much anticipation, this was a very limited release so that the remainder of the rye whiskey barrels could continue to mature in the warehouses.
Technically not part of a series, this is still the 1st of 3 Rye Whiskey’s that will be released by Jack Daniels. Other than this Unaged Tennessee Rye, there is also a Rested Tennessee Rye which was released in 2014 and an Aged Tennessee Rye which will be released at a future date.

Jack Daniels White Rabbit Saloon 120th Anniversary (70cl, 43%)
€185Original price was: €185.€165Current price is: €165.Officially released at the Distillery on August 11, 2012, the original White Rabbit bottle celebrates the 120th Anniversary of the opening of the Jack Daniel’s White Rabbit Saloon. While the Saloon is no longer around, part of its name can still be found in the Distillery’s Visitor Center at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop.
In July of 2013, approximately 1 year after the 120th Anniversary of the White Rabbit Saloon, an update to this bottle was made. Nearly identical to the bottle from 2012, the major difference is shown on the bottle’s front label and on the box where it now reads “Special Edition” instead of “120th Anniversary”. This small change was made so that the Distillery could continue celebrating the famous White Rabbit Saloon even after the 120th Anniversary date had passed.

€19Johnnie Walker has created three limited edition bottles for its Red Label, Black Label, and Gold Label Reserve Whiskies to celebrate the Diageo-owned brand’s 200th anniversary. On the usual bottles, a slanted label features the blended Scotch’s name/color, but that has been updated to an opaque wrap that covers the entire bottle. Don’t worry, the Whisky inside the bottles remains the same.
“These limited edition bottles give a bold new look to our most iconic whiskies and perfectly celebrate Johnnie Walker’s depth of character as we celebrate this incredible 200-year milestone,” said Ali Reynolds, Johnnie Walker GB brand ambassador “This striking new design is sure to stand out on shelf and appeal to both enthusiasts and those who are new to the Scotch scene. The new bottles also make an ideal option for gifting occasions as we showcase the innovative brand ethos and open the doors to a new generation of whisky drinkers.”
The 200th anniversary celebrates the year, 1820, when John Walker bought an Italian warehouse, grocery, and wine and spirits shop on the High Street in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.
All three bottles are now available for purchase now from major retailers and can also be purchased directly from shop.malts.com.
It’s been a big year of releases for Johnnie Walker as it celebrates its 200th Anniversary. Back in July, the blended Scotch brand unveiled three limited edition Whiskies: Blue Label Legendary Eight, Celebratory Blend, and Bicentenary Blend as well as a limited edition bottle design. Each anniversary release celebrates part of the famed brand’s two century journey. All four releases are expected to hit shelves across the globe in October.

Bottler John Walker & Sons (JW&S)
To celebrate the launch of Squid Game Season 2, which returns on 26 December this year, Johnnie Walker has released a limited edition design for bottles of its Black Label whisky.
The bottles are designated with the numbers 001 to 456, which is how many characters are competing in the new series, and also gives consumers the opportunity to ‘pick their player’ via bottle.
Key features of the design include the Johnnie Walker striding man logo donning the show’s green tracksuit, and a 20-degree slanted label with a custom fabric pattern varnish to ‘simulate the texture’ of the green tracksuit.
The partnership kicked off yesterday (1 October) with a takeover of Times Square in New York, which took place at 4.56 EST, again nodding to the number of players participating in the game.
Josh Dean, vice president of Johnnie Walker, Diageo North America, said: “This partnership brings together two global icons, the world’s number one Scotch whisky and the worldwide TV phenomenon of Netflix’s Squid Game.
“Our loyal fan bases are going to be thrilled by the element of discovery with our collectible, limited edition bottle design that allows them to get close to the action. At Johnnie Walker, we’re continuing to reimagine how whisky can be enjoyed through unique and creative experiences, partnerships and occasions.”
Tying into the launch, mixologist Ginn Choe has also created a special 456 cocktail, which she called “a twist of mystery, just like the show”.
She added: “It’s made with popular and traditional Korean ingredients, such as honey for sweetener and barley tea known as bori-cha that marries well with the spice and vanilla notes of Johnnie Walker Black Label.”
The partnership between Johnnie Walker and Squid Game will also reach Europe and Asia, through outdoor media, social media campaigns, events and retail touchpoints.
On bringing the partnership to life, Magno Herran, vice president of global brand and partner marketing at Netflix, said: “Squid Game fans are highly anticipating the show’s return. To give them something really special and unexpected, in collaboration with Johnnie Walker, we dressed the iconic striding man in the show’s classic green tracksuit.
“Through our partnership, we’ve taken the series from the screen to the shelf, to the streets, even surprising fans in Times Square with an opportunity to play a game featured on Squid Game.
“This excellent integrated experience also includes promotion of the campaign on Netflix’ss ad-supported plan, so our members can pick up the perfect pairing of Johnnie Walker and Netflix for the series release this December.”
The link-up with Netflix continues a bumper period of activity for Johnnie Walker. The world’s biggest-selling Scotch whisky has also unveiled a 700ml light bottle , trialled paper bottles and announced the debut of its Black Ruby expression in global travel retail for next year.
Meanwhile, its owner, Diageo, is expecting a return to sales growth despite a “challenging consumer environment’.

Johnnie Walker Black Label Anniversary Edition 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)
€199This aged version of the classic Red Label enjoys a similar cult following. Its unique complexity is achieved by expertly blending an extremely diverse, but complementary range of malt whiskies, each of which has been matured for a minimum of 12 years and some for much longer. In total, up to 40 malts and grain whiskies make up the Black Label blend. Island and Islay malts deliver spice, richness and lingering peat. Speyside malts make an important contribution to the depth of taste, bringing smoky malt, fruitiness, apple freshness and a rich sherry character to the blend. At the heart of Black Label lies 12 year old Cardhu, an outstanding malt from Speyside, which imparts silkiness, a characteristic which has made it famous as a single malt.
To date, Black Label has won more international awards for excellence than any other deluxe whisky. In the 1880s, Old Highland won medals in Sydney and Paris. Over 100 years later, in 1994, Black Label picked up gold medals at the 1994 Monde Selection Awards and the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), where it also won a trophy for Best Blended Whisky. In 1996, it won gold again at IWSC for the best deluxe Scotch Whisky. 40% Alc./Vol.

Johnnie Walker Johnnie Blonde 70cl, 40%
€39Original price was: €39.€29Current price is: €29.JOHNNIE BLONDE WHISKY.
This special edition blend from Johnnie Walker is made with mixing in mind. It’s sweeter than you might expect from the brand, with prominent toffee and fruit notes that bring the best from lemonade, cola and ginger. For the summer of 2020, Johnnie Walker have launched a brighter, sweeter whisky called Johnnie Blonde Blended Scotch Whisky. According to Johnnie Walker, this is one of the most versatile whiskies they’ve ever made. With this whisky, Johnnie Walker have taken bright wheat whiskies which have been matured in sweet American oak. This gives flavours of toffee and caramel, before being brought together with fresher, fruity malt flavours from the whole of Scotland. On the nose the vanilla notes come through strongly, along with toffee and berry aromas. On the palate the sweetness continues, again with sweetened vanilla, apples, and a light spiciness and caramel aromas. The finish on this whisy is smooth, and very light. Perfect Serve. This is a whisky which was made to be versatile, and works in the mix with soda, lemonade, cola or ginger mixers. Try it with a citrus soda, such as Fever-Tree Sicilian Lemonade and you’ll note the sweet, fruity crispness from the whisky comes forward. Try with soda or ginger ale such as Fever-Tree Soda or Ginger Ale and the creamy vanilla notes of the Johnnie Blonde really shine. For any of the above, take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of Johnnie Blonde. Top up with 150ml of your chosen mixer, and garnish with a slice of orange.
Johnnie Blonde has been made for curious Scotch lovers and non-whisky drinkers alike. Made to be mixed, it bursts into life with the citrus kick of lemonade, topped with a fresh slice of orange.

Linkwood 23 Year Old 1997 Cask Strength Collection Signatory 70cl, 54.3%
€299Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright gold. This is an inference based on mature hogshead-style presentation and bottle imagery rather than a formally published colour note.
Nose: Soft orchard fruit, vanilla, honey, polished oak, and gentle malt sweetness. This is an inference based on the cask type, age, and release style, as I did not find a reliable official published tasting note for this exact bottling.
Palate: Elegant and mature, with sweet fruit, vanilla cream, light spice, toasted malt, and a rounded oak structure. This is an inference based on the stated hogshead maturation and the age of the whisky rather than a formally published retailer tasting note.
Finish: Long, warming, and softly drying, with lingering vanilla, fruit, oak spice, and mature malt character. This is an inference based on the release style rather than a separately published finish note.

Royal Lochnagar distillery is based on the Abergeldie Estate in Royal Deeside, Scotland, close to the mountain Lochnagar.
The first Lochnagar distillery was burnt down in suspicious circumstances in 1824 and a replacement again burnt down in 1841. In 1845 John Begg built the “new” Lochnagar. The distillery was awarded its Royal Warrant in 1848 when John Begg invited Prince Albert to visit the distillery from the nearby Balmoral Castle, the Queen’s residence in the Highlands. The next day the distillery was visited by Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their children.
Today Royal Lochnagar is owned by Diageo, and the distillery produces a relatively small amount of whisky, most of which is used in Johnnie Walker black and blue label.
