Macallan Quest (70cl, 40%)

In stock
  • ( 0 Customer Review )

The Macallan Quest might sound like some sort of epic journey to throw an evil chime hoop into a massive sherry cask, but it’s actually a Travel Retail bottling of Macallan single malt drawn from four varieties of cask – bourbon casks, sherry-seasoned European oak casks, sherry-seasoned American oak casks, and hogsheads. The name is a reference to the lengths taken by the Macallan team to source the best oak to mature whisky in.

Also available in 70cl.

  • ( 0 Customer Review )

Released in late 2017, Ardbeg Twenty Something is 23 year old single malt from the revered Islay distillery, matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The name might suggest that this release is somewhat shy or flippant about its age, but the flavour profile shows off the whisky’s maturity brilliantly.

Ardbeg 22 Year Old Twenty Something (70cl, 46.4%)

  • ( 0 Customer Review )

This is a very exciting limited edition 22 year old single malt Scotch from Ardbeg. It’s a notable expression because it was distilled in 1996, when Ardbeg was under threat of demolition. It was one of the last spirits distilled using Ardbeg’s old equipment, including the retired still that now stands in the distillery’s courtyard. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks to capture the classic Ardbeggian profile (yes, that’s a word… Probably…).

Original price was: €85.00.Current price is: €74.90.

This stunning expression from Islay’s Ardbeg distillery on the Kildalton Coast is named after a nearby loch (pronounced “Oog-a-dal”). It’s the perfect example of how sweet and savoury notes can work together spectacularly – you’ll find Ardbeg’s maritime salinity intact here, combined with dried fruit notes imparted by time spent in sherry casks. Kind of like when you mix sweet popcorn and salty popcorn together, it results in something absolutely wonderful.

Original price was: €119.00.Current price is: €92.00.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan (70cl, 57.1%)

Powerfully peaty and immensely satisfying, Ardbeg’s Corryvreckan is what happens when the distillery of Islay’s Kildalton Coast aims to make a whisky with a particularly medicinal style than its usual expressions. Aptly named after a nearby whirlpool, Corryvreckan is an intense dram that we simply love.

Original price was: €250.00.Current price is: €220.00.

Ardbeg An Oa (70cl, 46.6%)

In stock
  • ( 0 Customer Review )

An Oa is named after the Mull of Oa in the south west of Islay, which offers the Kildaton coast (where Ardbeg distillery is situated) some protection from the worst the Atlantic has to offer! As such, An Oa is intended to show a more approachable side to Ardbeg single malt that’s as rounded as the Oa peninsular, without losing the characteristic distillery style. In the summer of 2017 this became the first addition to Ardbeg’s core range in over a decade.

Maturation took place in a combination of casks including Pedro Ximénez, charred virgin oak and ex-bourbon, which were all brought together to marry in Dr. Bill Lumsden’s new ‘Gathering Vat’!

This limited-edition release is a twin pack containing two bottles of The Macallan 12-year-old Double Cask single malt whisky. Both the bottles and the gift box are designed with artwork celebrating Chinese New Year 2020 with time-honoured symbols of traditional knots, which is symbolic for long life and eternal bliss within Chinese culture along with the Rat illustrating ‘yang’ and representing the beginning of a new day.

12 Year Old Double Cask Year Of The Rat

The introduction of the Double Cask series in 2018 marked the distillery’s triumphant return to age-statement expressions following the, let’s generously say, “mixed” reception of its 1824 series. This bottling is the marriage of sherry-seasoned American Oak and European Oak.

This limited edition pair celebrates the Chinese year of the rat.

Devil’s Blood Vodka Cherry (1L, 33,3%)

  • ( 0 Customer Review )

The “Devil’s Blood” is actually a cocktail. It enjoys a lot of popularity especially at times like Halloween. Classically mixed with ingredients like black vodka, triple sec, cherry or cranberry juice, it sometimes brings back memories of a simple Cosmo. Now you can also enjoy the gruesome drink at home. Here comes Devil’s Blood.

Devil’s Blood

In this Devil’s Blood no Triple Sec is used in contrast to the well-known Cocktail. Of course, we don’t prevent you from using it afterwards. Enjoy the spook bottle with the high-quality vodka and the aroma of probably the best cherries in Poland.

Design

By the way: The bottle makes itself certainly excellent in your mini bar. Or do you use it as a candle holder as soon as the drink is empty? Black wax droplets make themselves particularly good on the design.

An extraordinary award-winning gin from Ableforth’s. Made using the traditional method of Cold Compounding (or in layman’s terms – infusing). Very high quality copper pot-still spirit is infused with ingredients including juniper, orange peel, coriander, cassia, cloves and cardamom, with the length of the compounding period controlled entirely by periodic sampling.

The result is an extraordinary gin, lightly tinted by the botanicals, and with a flavour which is both bold, and perfumed all at once. Sure to be a hit with amateur and professional mixologists alike.

Packaged using brown paper, string and wax, the presentation puts us in mind of a Victorian apothecary!
