Launched to celebrate the ongoing renaissance of Irish whiskey, the first expression in the range was finished in ex-Madeira casks – this time, the fantastic 18 year old Irish single malt has been finished in ex-Australian Shiraz casks after maturing in ex-bourbon barrels. This has imparted a generous scoop of ripe fruit notes, along with a dusting of vibrant spices. A release of 9,000 bottles.

Teeling’s Revival series comes to its conclusion with Volume V, which is a 12 year old single malt Irish whiskey initially in ex-Bourbon barrels. Léoville Barton is not only a highly-regarded grand cru Château, but one that takes it’s name from the Irish ‘Wine Geese’ winemaker Thomas Barton. In fact, Léoville Barton is still run by his descendants to this day. This bottling is a celebration of shared Irish heritage.
Matured initially in a mixture of ex-Oloroso Sherry, fresh American oak and ex-bourbon barrels, this Green Spot whiskey is then finished in the ex-Château Léoville Barton Bordeaux wine casks for 12 to 24 months.

This is an Irish whiskey that has enjoyed a finishing period in Sherry casks before being bottled as part of the Peaky Blinder range from Sadler’s. The name comes from a street gang that was around in the late 19th and early 20th Century, a member of which you can see on the label – note the all important cap, which apparently was where the gang name originates.

Our aim was to produce the most flavoursome non-age statement Irish Single Malt based on our innovative maturation and finishing techniques while retaining the distinctive Irish smoothness. Consists of a vatting of 5 different wine cask (Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy, Cabernet Sauvignon) finished Irish Malt whiskeys. First produced in 1779, it wasn’t until 1913 that it changed it’s name to Paddy after legendary salesman Paddy Flaherty. Before that it had the rather catchy name of “Cork Distilling Company Map of Ireland Old Irish Whiskey”. Rolls right off the tongue that one.
