Johnnie Walker Aged 18 Years is a rebranding of the Johnnie Walker Platinum Label expression.
The expression draws on up to 18 whiskies from Scotland’s main whisky making regions, including classic Speyside malts from Cardhu, Glen Elgin and Auchroisk bringing a sweet and elegant character. Fruity Highland malts like Blair Athol bring a real complexity and island malts bring their characteristic subtle smokiness. Small, carefully judged amounts of Lowland grain whisky are instrumental in unlocking the flavours which can sometimes be constrained in older malts. All these vital components have been slowly matured over 18 long years to create a whisky of remarkable flavour and character.
From the earliest days of their business, the Walker family and subsequent generations of Master Blenders have crafted exclusive Scotch whiskies for the Directors of their company and for private gatherings – treasured whiskies that have only ever been shared with a select few, at special occasions.
Inspired by this tradition, Johnnie Walker The Pursuit of the Ultimate 18 is a supremely rich and full-flavoured 18 year old Scotch whisky, created for those truly special moments.
The Famous Grouse 16 year-old double matured special edition is a sublime blend of eight different whiskies. Gently married over time and matured twice to ensure a depth of flavour, the blend is expertly finished in a combination of first fill Spanish sherry casks and first fill American Bourbon casks. It is presented in a signed collector’s pack, designed by artist Vic Lee. An award-winning illustrator and renowned storyteller, his style focuses on the delightful juxtapositions between tradition and modernity.
Old Luxury is a well-aged blend partially matured in Matusalem sherry butts.
A matusalem sherry-matured blend – this will be weighty and rich: approach with suitable gravitas. On a side note, we are loving W&M’s Mackintosh-esque rebrand, which seems to be bucking recent trends by actually making the product look better.

An updated botting of this classic blended Scotch whisky, thoroughly indulgent and fabulously delicious. A high proportion of the whiskies in the recipe have been matured in European oak casks, giving a nutty, dried fruit influence. Ballantine’s is renowned for smoothness, and this expression is an impeccable example.
Royal Salute 21 Year is an homage by Chivas Regal to the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. At 21 years, it is also the youngest in the Royal Salute line-up. Why 21 years old you might ask? 21 is an important designation as it refers to the 21-gun-salute, for generations a form of honor and respect to sovereigns and dignitaries. Be aware that there are 3 different colors for the ceramic decanters (sapphire, ruby, and emerald), but the spirit is the same.

The Illustrations were commissioned for the limited edition packaging of Johnnie Walkers Black Label and Double Black city range, Printed on a metallic substrate, the rich colours and warm glows emanate from the packs to invite the viewer in.
How did you make this work:
Each Illustration was a massive undertaking with most of the PSD files ending up with over 2000 layers, every item on every pack consists of three layers each with a different colour, the glow the gold and the purple for example all blending into each other. the main trick of all the illustrations was getting the perspective of the different landmarks and buildings to work together.

Johnnie Walker is taking a tour of Scotland’s whisky regions with the Black Label Origins series! (Please note: we tried very hard to not make a “walking tour” joke here. You should be thankful.) This expressions explores the Highlands, and it’s a blended malt build exclusively with malt whiskies from the Highlands region, including the likes of Clynelish and Teaninich.
A blended 18 Year Old whisky from Chivas Regal. Gold Signature blend comes from hand selected casks by Colin Scott their master blender and in recognition of this his initials are on every bottle of Gold Signature.
The packaging tube was designed by Pininfarina.

The second addition to the Johnnie Walker Explorers’ Club Series – “The Gold Route” was launched in 2013 as a Travel Retail exclusive.
Developed as a ‘luxury’ whisky, Walker’s Master Blender, Jim Beveridge describes this as an, “exotic mix of bananas, mango and pitaya,” with a taste of “pineapples, guava, passionfruit and raisins, all balanced perfectly by deep charred peaty notes in keeping with the signature smoky Johnnie Walker flavour”.

Released as part of the Johnnie Walker Black Label Origin series, this here is the Islay Origin expression! It marries a blend of Islay malts, including the likes of Caol Ila and Lagavulin. The whisky is designed to be just as delicious in dram form (yeah, that’s probably what it’s called) as it is in a Highball, and this particular expression works wonders when paired with ginger ale.
The Famous Grouse Sherry Cask Finish has aromas of cocoa, sherry, cherries and light oak. Sweet on the tongue by the Sherry tones, herbs and some fruit. The aftertaste is full of flavor with notes of chocolate and spices.
In taking a predominantly Laphroaig-based mix of Islay whiskies for this edition of Islay Mist, you would expect the medicinal smoke to be equally as strong. However the 17 years ageing and the combination with mainland whisky mellows the smoke right down into the background, to present something more akin to a mature highland whisky with heather honey, dried fruits and just a whisp of smoke that combines with the oak flavours to give a cedar cigar box quality.
