Description
Glen Scotia Victoriana Cask Strength New Edition 70cl, 54.2% is a powerful Campbeltown single malt inspired by the rich whisky styles produced during the Victorian era.
The whisky matures in first- and second-fill bourbon casks before selected parcels are finished for up to 12 months in heavily charred bourbon barrels and Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. These components are then married for a further six months, creating layers of caramelised fruit, roasted sugar, dark berries, spice and toasted oak.
Bottled at 54.2% cask strength, Victoriana is presented at natural colour and without chill filtration. The green-and-gold packaging shown represents the newer presentation of this established Glen Scotia expression.
Why Choose Glen Scotia Victoriana Cask Strength New Edition 70cl, 54.2%
This whisky stands out because it combines Glen Scotia’s maritime Campbeltown character with intense bourbon oak, heavily charred wood and rich Pedro Ximénez sherry influence.
The high strength delivers excellent concentration, while flavours of crème brûlée, blackcurrant, caramel, cocoa and dark fruit develop gradually in the glass. A few drops of water can reveal additional sweetness, fruit and spice.
Victoriana also received Platinum recognition at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition after earning Double Gold for three consecutive years.
Ideal For.
This bottle is ideal for Glen Scotia collectors seeking the newer green-and-gold 54.2% edition of Victoriana.

Collector’s Note
The newer 54.2% Victoriana has range-building appeal because the expression has appeared in several different strengths and packaging generations.
Earlier records include the original 51.5% presentation and a 54.8% Batch 001, while the current green-and-gold edition is bottled at 54.2%. These variations make Victoriana particularly interesting for collectors following the development of Glen Scotia’s modern range.
Although this edition is not individually numbered or officially limited, complete sealed bottles retaining the original box may become more desirable following future packaging or recipe changes.
