Glen Scotia distillery or sometimes affectionately known as The Scotia or Old Scotia is a distillery that is a producer of single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery was founded in 1832 in Campbeltown, Scotland.
A delicious entry level whisky from the Campbeltown distillery. This is aged in 100% first-fill bourbon barrels and offers a superb introduction to one of the great whisky regions of Scotland.
This is the 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glen Scotia in the Campbeltown region, released in 2015 as part of a redesign for their range. The distillers use specially selected American oak casks to age this expression, which compliment the fruit-forward and subtly coastal whisky rather well.

A mid-2017 addition to the Glen Scotia range, this 25 year old single malt was drawn from some specially selected casks and married in first-fill bourbon barrels before being bottled at 48.8% ABV.
Glen Scotia’s Victoriana sees the Campbeltown distillery’s single malt drawn from casks with a particularly heavy char profile, imparting plenty of rich, roasty-toasty notes. This, however, is the Victoriana Cask Strength expression. It’s obvious what the difference here is – it’s bottled at cask strength, a robust 54.2% ABV, which helps bolster those aforementioned roasty-toasty notes.
