Description

GlenAllachie 25 Year Old 1995 Xtra Old Particular Douglas Laing 70cl, 58.5% is a rare Speyside single malt independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the premium Xtra Old Particular range.

This release was distilled in March 1995 and bottled in April 2020 after 25 years of maturation in a single refill hogshead, cask #DL13922. It was bottled at natural cask strength, with only 254 bottles produced.

The refill hogshead maturation gives this GlenAllachie a more elegant and spirit-led profile than heavily sherried releases, allowing mature malt, honey, soft fruit, vanilla, oak spice and waxy sweetness to show clearly. At 58.5%, it has excellent power and texture, while the 25 year age statement adds depth and collector prestige.

Why Choose GlenAllachie 25 Year Old 1995 Xtra Old Particular Douglas Laing 70cl, 58.5%

This release stands out because it combines mature GlenAllachie whisky, single cask rarity and Douglas Laing’s premium XOP presentation. The refill hogshead gives the whisky balance and complexity, while the cask-strength bottling keeps the flavour full and concentrated.

For drinkers, it offers mature Speyside character with honey, malt, vanilla, orchard fruit and oak spice. For collectors, the 1995 vintage, cask #DL13922 identity, wooden presentation box and 254-bottle outturn make it a highly desirable bottle to own.

Ideal For.

This bottle is ideal for GlenAllachie collectors looking for a mature independent bottling with confirmed single cask details.

It is ideal for whisky drinkers who enjoy cask-strength Speyside single malts with honeyed malt, vanilla, soft fruit, waxy sweetness and mature oak.
