You are granted limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website.

Any user ID and password you may have for this Website are confidential and you must maintain confidentiality as well.
4. Return/Refund Policy
We do not accept any returns and we do not make refunds.
We take pride in packing your order to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately,there are times when parcels incur damage while in transit.
Before you sign for a shipment, please check the condition of the boxes. If a parcel shows clear signs of damage or leakage at the time of delivery, we ask that you refuse the parcel. Please ask the courier to return the goods to sender and contact us.
We do not accept any returns unless the items being returned were delivered in error. You will be liable for the full cost of returning the product(s) and will be responsible for any damage to the product(s) until we acknowledge receipt of the products. You have a legal responsibility to keep the product(s) in your possession and to take reasonable care of the products until you return them to us. Should the product(s) show signs of damage or tampering, we may have a right against you for compensation. We retain the right to arrange for collection of the product(s) at your cost in the event that you have not returned the product(s) within 14 days of your notice.
Above mentioned scenario is applied the Seller is bound to refund the Buyer within fourteen days from the day on which we receive the ITEM(S). The refund will be processed using the same payment method used in the original transaction.
Due to the various ages or not ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer’s discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure leakage in transit.
We are unable to cover minor/cosmetic damage to the boxes in transit.
Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact the recipient’s local customs office for further information.
5. Cancellation
To cancel your order, you must inform us BY CALLING US before your order is shipped.
For UPS shipments, please keep in mind that every package must not exceed 5 Litres per order and alcohol content cannot exceed 70% abv per bottle. If your order does not comply with these rules, then your order will get refunded and cancelled.
Buyer acknowledges that return and refund right does not apply in the case of:
- Goods or services for which the price is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the trader and which may occur within the withdrawal period e.g. rare collectibles items such as old highly valued pieces, vintage, etc.;
- Any products made to your specification, clearly personalized, custom-made or commissioned in any way;
- The supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery e.g. collectible whisky;
- Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
6. Payment terms
For Cyprus cash on delivery, credit card and Direct Bank Transfer.
For the rest of the world ONLY by credit card and Direct Bank Transfer.

7. Your Content
In these Website Standard Terms and Conditions, “Your Content” shall mean any audio, video text, images or other material you choose to display on this Website. By displaying Your Content, you grant WHISKYONLINECY a non-exclusive, worldwide irrevocable, sub licensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in any and all media.
Your Content must be your own and must not be invading any third-party’s rights. WHISKYONLINECY reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this Website at any time without notice.
8. No warranties
This Website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and WHISKYONLINECY express no representations or warranties, of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained on this Website. Also, nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.

In no event shall WHISKYONLINECY, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. WHISKYONLINECY, including its officers, directors and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent WHISKYONLINECY from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
12. Variation of Terms
WHISKYONLINECY is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
You must not misuse “the site” by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or any other material which may be malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to “the site”, the server on which “the site” is stored or any server, computer or database connected to “the site”. You must not attack “the site” in any way whatsoever, including via a ‘denial of service attack or a distributed denial of service attack.
By breaching this provision you would be committing a criminal offence under the Convention on Cybercrime CETS No.: 185. The WHISKYONLINECY is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between WHISKYONLINECY and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cyprus for the resolution of any disputes.
16. VAT
Do you deduct VAT on orders being shipped outside the EU?
Yes. Orders delivered to countries outside the EU will not have VAT (CYPRUS tax) charged on the purchase. Please note that depending on your order and the country the parcel is heading to, you may be liable to pay local taxes and duties on receipt of your order. We can’t accept liability for these.
VAT Rates applied in EU Countries
Under the new EU VAT legislative changes, entered into force from 01/07/2021, the supply of goods or services to private individuals and non-business customers will always be taxed in the country where the customer belongs, i.e., the Member State of the customer and not the Member State of the supplier.
17. Packaging
Your orders are safely wrapped and packed in a professional manner suitable for each product. We are responsible to make adequate packing by following the instructions and requirements of official shipping providers.
18. Shipping Insurance
For orders delivered via the Post Office, insurance is free, yet has a maximum compensation per packet as per table below and cannot be extended:

Due to the various ages or not ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer’s discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure leakage in transit.
We are unable to cover minor/cosmetic damage to the box or boxes in transit.
For all bottles if the closure may have deteriorated – care should be taken when it is being opened. The item is sold as described and we do not accept liability for the state of the closure.

- We would also like to remind you that mail flow is not effected under normal circumstances, delays will be observed in the handling, transportation and delivery at the final destination for all postal services.
- We are making every possible effort to add more destinations, which will be announced as soon as this will be feasible.
- We remind you that the international premium courier service Quickpost is offered to most destinations worldwide, for express items.
- Please note that the terms and conditions of each service as well as the applicable restrictions will be in force.
19. Note
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice and at our sole discretion. As such, it is your responsibility to review these stated Terms and Conditions at regular intervals.
We reserve the right to amend, modify, discontinue or suspend all or part of this site and may restrict your access to all or part of “the site” at any time without notice or liability.
At any point, we have the right to cancel the order for any reason ie. human error, out of stock etc.
The photo/picture on our Website WHISKYONLINECY does not correspond to the exact bottle we have in stock. If you would like to see a detailed photo/picture of any bottle just get in touch.
Please note that Whiskyonlinecy will take every care when shipping decanters (ceramics), ensuring they are safely packed, but decanters are fragile so we cannot be held responsible for any issues during transit.
