Originally added to the GlenAllachie core range in 2019, this 15-year-old single malt underwent a redesign in 2024. The whisky was treated to a finishing period in sherry casks before bottling. The casks in question were a combination of puncheons and hogsheads that previously held Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry. Master distiller Billy Walker described this expression as having an “exceptional balance of the distillery’s spirit and the influence of the sherry casks used during maturation.” We’d have to agree.

This is the 12th batch of GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength single malt, showcasing the importance of cask management under the watchful eye of master distiller Billy Walker. Drawn from a combo of Pedro Ximénez, oloroso, red wine and, new oak casks, it’s bottled at cask strength, without added colour or chill filtration. Just look at that splendid hue!

Batch 11 of GlenAllachie’s 10 Year Old Cask Strength welcomes a shiny new design for the beloved single malt, produced under the watchful eye of master distiller Billy Walker and demonstrating the importance of his masterful cask management. This edition marries single malt matured in Pedro Ximénez, oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks, and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.4% ABV.
