La Rosa stands out from the rest of Asombrosa’s range of tequilas, thanks to the barrels in which it’s rested. This is the world’s first Bordeaux-barrel-rested tequila, and the process lends it an eye-catching pink hue and a lot of sweet complexity in the palate.
AsomBroso La Rosa Reposado ages three months in French Oak casks that were once used for vintage Bordeaux wine. This special aging process lends it its pink hue colour. On the nose, the tequila shows sweet floral scents accompanied by characteristics of the Bordeaux wine. On the palate, spicy and peppery notes are followed by a smooth vanilla finish.
The distinctive bottle is patterned after a decanter that Ricardo Camarra, the man behind the brand, found in an 18th-century European castle. Each bottle is a beautiful product of craftsmanship: The mouth-blown decanter features stems and flowers that are hand-painted directly on the bottle. Plus, each bottle is hand-numbered.
AsomBroso Tequilas are requested at celebrity parties with the likes of Diddy and Paris Hilton, and the distinctive bottle tequila has also made a cameo appearance in the feature films “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

In 18 Year Old Viking Pride Travel Edition, we celebrate doing things our own way (often the hard way) and our commitment to the craft of whisky-making. One crucial aspect of that craft is harmonisation.
After marrying whisky from different casks together, we then give the liquid valuable time to harmonise in the cask before being bottled. A deliberately slow and unhurried stage, long since abandoned by many distilleries, cask harmonisation is what helps us achieve the intense balance that is our hallmark. By using a high proportion of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks and bottling 18 Year Old Viking Pride Travel Edition at its marrying strength of 46% ABV, the whisky’s delicious notes of heather honey, chocolate and cherries are intensified.
The resulting single malt whisky is rich and sweet, boasting a powerful balance of cherry jam, rich dark chocolate, heather honey and waves of floral, aromatic peat smoke.
We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. The Whistle Pig 10 year old is the first whisky produced by the distillery, and it is with this whisky that everything started. In 2007 the Whistle Pig team bought an old farm in Vermont to create their distillery. With the help of their master distiller, they set out to find a stock of whisky to create their first blend. It was then that they discovered a stock of Rye Whisky aged in the Great North and underused. Thanks to this fund, in which they saw the potential, they were able to launch their production and create their very first whisky: the Whistle Pig 10 Year Old.

From Batch 2 of our Virgin Oak Series, this exceptional malt was first matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels before undergoing additional maturation in casks made of Chinquapin Oak (Quercus Muehlenbergii), which is sourced from the Northern Ozark region in Missouri for approximately 18 months. The casks were air dried for almost four years, then toasted to medium level before hosting the spirit.
The result is a complex, zesty malt bursting with runny honey, sweet cinnamon and orange peel.
Bottled at 48%, natural colour and non chill filtered.
