Balvenie 12 Year Old The Sweet Toast of American Oak Stories No.1 (70cl, 43%)
A creamy, sweet single malt, The Sweet Toast of American Oak is the first whisky in the Balvenie Stories collection. Finished in heavily-toasted virgin American oak casks from Kentucky, it is even fruitier than normal. Sweet, malty aromas of fudge, citrus and oaky vanilla mingle with spicy ginger and warm cinnamon on the nose. The palate initially offers notes of candied orange peel, vanilla toffee and butterscotch, developing slowly into flavours of melted brown sugar, blossom honey and rich oak spice.
The Balvenie Stories collection is designed to bring to life the tales of ‘character, endeavour and craft’ of those at Balvenie through the generations.
Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood (70cl, 40%)
DoubleWood 12 whisky was launched in 1993, using a process designed by our Honorary Ambassador and Former Malt Master David C. Stewart in 1982, now commonly known as ‘wood finishing’.
The flagship bottling from this famous Speyside distiller. A dessert-like dram, this is perfect for rounding off a rich meal.
First cask Whisky Oak
Many years of maturation in traditional whisky casks mellows the maturating spirit and imparts warming layers of vanilla spiciness
Second cask Sherry oak
Further maturation in European Oak Sherry casks increases complexity, bringing fruity, honeyed depths to the resulting Single Malt

Balmenach 9 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish Darkness (50cl, 56.6%)
Much of the single malt produced at Speyside’s Balmenach distillery is destined for premium blends including the likes of Johnnie Walker… not this little gem though! This single malt joins the Darkness range of intensely sherried whiskies, having matured for nine years, including a finish in a single oloroso sherry octave cask. The smaller casks that Darkness uses allow more interaction between the wood and the whisky, so you can expect mouthcoating layers of sweet, nutty spice here.
