Glenfiddich Wedgwood Ceramic Decanter 1987 Sealed Empty Display Bottle is best treated as a collectible display item rather than a drinkable whisky bottle. Your listing states clearly that the decanter is sealed but has no contents, and that it was supplied in this condition to a Wm Grant family member. That immediately makes it a…
This is the 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glengarry range, made at the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands (known for producing a variety of styles of whisky). This expression is made with whisky drawn from three types of cask – bourbon, refill and re-charred.
A milestone moment for the Glenglassaugh distillery, which fired its stills back up in 2008 after over two decades of silence. After that reawakening, a growing stash of single malt has been patiently maturing in the distillery’s coastal warehouses, under the watchful eye of master blender Rachel Barrie. 2023 sees the launch of this brand new flagship 12-year-old single malt. Drawn from a selection of bourbon, sherry, and red wine casks, it’s layered with soft stone fruits, toasted vanilla, softly salted chocolate, and sweet, nutty meringue.
This is a 42% bottling of 30 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenglassaugh, a Highland distillery on the coast. As with the previous release it’s presented in a beautiful teardrop decanter.

A new 2013 release which marks a change for Glenglassaugh. The previous releases of their 40 year old have been single casks, but, from now on, they will be releasing a vatting of casks as an ongoing release. Presented in the same ‘teardrop’ shaped decanter as the 30yo, this has seen a lot of sherry-wood influence, so can be expected to be rich and flavoursome.

Very well-aged single malt from Glenglassaugh’s third batch of Rare Cask Release bottlings. This was distilled in November 1973 and slumbered soundly for until it was finished in a bourbon barrel and bottled in November 2016 – 42 years of maturation! 238 bottles were produced.

50 year old Glenglassaugh single malt. Goodness gracious. This was distilled in November 1965 and matured in a single hogshead until November 2016, when the distillery in the Highlands bottled it up as the oldest expression in their Rare Cask Release Batch 3. 285 bottles were produced.
It warrants saying again. 50 year old Glenglassaugh single malt. Goodness gracious indeed.
Glenglassaugh Evolution is created by maturing the whisky in a unique combination of the finest hand-picked ex-Tennessee first-fill whiskey barrels. This expression shows great depth of character and finesse, a harmonious combination of whisky and oak. Bottled at 50%, natural colour and non chill filtered, Evolution represents the heart of Glenglassaugh’s distinctive personality, and indeed the landscape in which it is set.
Glenglassaugh describe this single malt as ‘like a sweet shop by the beach’, referring to the candy and vanilla notes added to their coastal, peated whisky by the American virgin oak it’s been finished in.
After two decades of silence, the Glenglassaugh distillery reawoke in 2008, and now it’s time to discover a brand new single malt, produced under the expert direction of master blender Rachel Barrie. Portsoy is a richly peated single malt, named after the coastal distillery’s neighbouring harbour village. Matured in a selection of sherry, bourbon, and Port casks, it boasts a satisfyingly smoky, maritime character with waves of tropical fruit, salted liquorice, sticky soy, and chocolate.
The Revival is the first expression released from Glenglassaugh distillery after being mothballed for more than 20 years. The Glenglassaugh Revival has been matured in a balanced mix of ex-red wine and fresh bourbon casks, vatted and re-racked for double maturation in rich sherry casks. Bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and of natural colour, Revival is a stunning Highland single malt with a coastal charm.
After laying silent for over two decades, the Glenglassaugh stills were fired back up in 2008, and in 2023, a brand new core range is ready! The distillery sits on the rugged north Aberdeenshire coast, nestled behind the beautiful surfer’s haven, Sandend Bay. Master blender Rachel Barrie has fond childhood memories of time spent at Sandend and even learned to surf there, and now the bay is honoured in the form of this unpeated single malt. Matured in a combo of bourbon, sherry, and manzanilla casks, it’s bursting with notes of tropical fruit and tablet, with delicate coastal salinity in the distance.
We’ve seen the Revival and the Evolution, and now Glenglassaugh are adding a peated expression to their range. The Torfa (which refers to the Old Norse word for turf or peat) has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels and weighs in at 20 PPM. We love to see that Glenglassaugh is back up and running again after being closed for over 20 years, and they’ve even got enough momentum to try new things, as this is their first peated single malt Scotch whisky!
Glengoyne is one of the only Scottish whiskies to be distilled from completely unpeated malt – the malt is allowed to dry naturally before fermentation and distillation begin, resulting in an elegant, medium-bodied style.

Glengoyne’s 15 year old strikes the perfect balance between sweet bourbon cask character and rich, fruity sherry notes. There isn’t a peep of peat to be found in this Highland single malt Scotch whisky, which uses air-dried barley in its kilning process.

A replacement for Glengoyne’s 17yo that appeared in their revamped range in late 2012. A mix of refill sherry casks and a generous slug of first-fill sherry-matured whisky.

Introduced in early 2014, this is a 25 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery – an addition to their core range. The Highlands distillery uses unpeated malt for this whisky, which is then matured for a quarter of a century in Sherry casks.
A 30 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery is not to be missed. Satisfyingly sherried to create a beautifully full-bodied whisky, this beauty was matured in Glengoyne’s traditional dunnage warehouses, using one-third first-fill European oak Sherry butts and two-thirds refill Sherry butts.

The Glengoyne 30 Year Old joined the distillery’s annual limited-release range in 2017. This release was aged for a minimum of 30 years in carefully selected sherry casks, creating rich notes of seasonal spices and dried fruits. Aromas of black cherry and sherry trifle, along with rum-raisin chocolate are seasoned with cinnamon and cloves on the palate, making this expression perfect for whisky lovers looking for an indulgent sherry cask whisky.

Bold, complex flavours from the slowest stills in Scotland matured in only the finest casks mark Glengoyne out as being one of Scotland’s most unique distilleries. Attention to detail and patience are at the fore, resulting in world-class spirits that boast complexity, depth and allure. This stunningly presented gift set features Glengoyne’s 12, 15 and 18 Year Old malts providing a unique opportunity to compare and contrast the qualities of these different age statement expressions. A great introduction to one of whisky’s best kept secrets, and an inspired gift idea for spirits aficionados.
White Oak joins the core collection from the Highlands-based Glengoyne distillery. This single malt matures entirely in first-fill bourbon and new oak casks from North America, charred for less than a minute to allow the spirit to truly shine.
The flagship expression from the Glenkinchie distillery, one of the stalwarts of the Lowlands. A fantastic introduction to the region, Glenkinchie 12 Year Old shows off the characteristic lightness and grassy elements that Lowland whiskies are known for, with nods to cooked fruit and Sauternes wine along the way. Brilliant single malt to enjoy as an aperitif on a warm evening.
This 2021 Glenkinchie Distillers Edition was finished in Amontillado sherry casks after first being aged in recharred American oak casks. The secondary cask influence adds richer notes of nuts and spice to the characteristically light, fruity single malt.
This 24 year old Glenkinchie single malt is matured in refill European oak butts, part of Diageo’s 2016 Special Releases. 5,928 natural cask strength bottles were produced, making it the oldest official bottling of cask strength Glenkinchie ever released as well as the first matured exclusively in European oak!
