Dalmore 15 Year Old Vintage 2007 bottled 2022 (70cl, 46.5%)
The Dalmore Vintages series combines the finest casks from a single year to create a single malt that embodies the distillery’s character and showcases the skill of its whisky-makers. The second release of whisky in this series includes this 2007 Dalmore that began its life in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and was transferred into a combination of Matusalem, Amoroso and Apostoles sherry casks, and Marsala wine casks, before being married together and bottled in 2022. Aromas of freshly-baked brioche, ginger cake and fondant icing fill the nose, complemented by notes of orange blossom, mandarin, cinnamon, clove, ginger snaps and sugar-dusted pastries throughout the palate.

Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select 70cl, 43%
A brand new addition to the Highland malt makerâs award-winning Principal Collection, the Sherry Cask Select showcases the affinity between The Dalmore and sherry.
This expression begins its journey in American white oak ex-bourbon casks where it spends ten years maturing, laying down the foundations of the distillery’s house style: chocolate, orange and spice. The liquid is then finished in an assemblage of hand-curated sherry barrels from Andalusia in Spain, making this 12-year-old a delicious and decadent drinking experience, full of sweet fruits and autumnal spice.

Cutty Black 100 Proof Sample (2cl, 50%)
Undoubtedly anything but a classic whiskey, already on the nose can be seen that you can expect here neither a single malt nor a boring standard blend. As a liquorice friend who appreciates sweet, sticky liquorice liquor almost đ as well as a beautiful Irishman or a hefty sweet Scot, I recognize the best of both worlds here. As a whiskey, I would give the Cutty Sark Black no 30 points, but he is too little “pure”, too little deep, not enough aromatic. As an alcoholic liquorice drink, however, the 77 points that I simply give out here are more than just earned.

Cucamelon Gin (That Boutique-y Gin Company) (70cl, 46%)
The cucamelon is a wonderful fruit native to Mexico and Central America that looks like a tiny watermelon but tastes similar to a lime-dipped cucumber. Frankly they seem ridiculous, but cucamelons really do exist – and we made a gin with them!
Cu Dhub Black (70cl, 40%)
Cu Dhub, pronounced âkaddoo,â is actually a very loose recreation of a whisky called Loch Dhu, which was bottled for only a few years in the â90s and managed to attain a sort of cult following during that time. Most reviews revel in how awful it is â primarily because it drew its color not from caramel but from extra-charred oak barrels, where it spent 10 years.
Crystal Head Vodka (70cl, 40%)
This is one of the most brilliant things ever to be, also one of the very finest celebrity-endorsed products we’ve ever seen. Created for the legendary Dan Aykroyd, Crystal Head Vodka is kosher-certified, and made using Newfoundland water which is filtered through 500 million year old crystals called Herkimer diamonds. The bottle is made in Italy by Bruni Glass and it’s also a crystal skull, which is, of course, the best thing (ignoring the negative connotations with the travesty that was Indiana Jones 4…).
