Tamnavulin 12 Year Old Battlehill (Duncan Taylor) 70cl, 46%
Enjoy the 12-year-old Tamnavulin Battlehill, a fine single malt whisky from the picturesque Speyside region. While Speyside is technically part of the Highlands, the distilleries along the River Spey have distinguished themselves with their delicate and elegantly floral style, leading to Speyside being recognized as a separate whisky region.
From the creation of this whisky
The whisky was made from malted barley and water. Tamnavulin whisky is not peaty. It was bottled at 46% ABV, which allows the aromas to fully develop .
This whisky was produced without any artificial coloring. Its honey-yellow hue came solely from cask maturation. The maturation period was a generous 12 years. This time spent in oak casks is responsible for the diverse aromas of this bottling.
This whisky doesn’t come directly from Tamnavulin itself, but from the independent bottler Duncan Taylor. Here’s Duncan Taylor’s answer to the question of what makes a good Tamnavulin.
