This richly peated blended malt from the Vintage Malt Whisky Co. was aged in American Oak casks from Islay and the Highlands, before it was bottled with 30ppm of phenol at 46% ABV, with an outturn of 4200 bottles.
The flavour balances sweet and salty notes, but still carries a big, smoky flavour that hits you like a… Like some enormous form of transportation… I can’t think of which one… Oh, it has a nice train on the bottle label too!

Tasting Note
Nose With sweet peat smoke there’s some creamy vanilla, soft citrus and a hint of iodine. Prickles of ginger linger.
Palate The smoke becomes thicker and drier as the spice sweetens in a brilliantly oily palate. Floral honey keeps things interesting throughout.
Finish Long and drying.
