The 2022 vintage combines 88% Cabernet Sauvignon with 12% Cabernet Franc. Hand harvesting took place throughout September, followed by controlled fermentation, moderate skin contact and approximately 23 months of maturation in French oak.

Despite the hot growing season, Bolgheri’s coastal microclimate, elevated vineyards and timely August rainfall helped preserve freshness and acidity. The resulting wine combines blackberry, sour cherry and redcurrant with graphite, cedar, rosemary, lavender and tobacco.
