Description
Tasting Note
Nose: Rich and inviting. Deep cherry kirsch and ripe red berries mingle with luscious dried fruits—figs, raisins, and dates—layered with warm sherry sweetness, vanilla custard, and toasted oak. Spices such as cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg add complexity, alongside hints of marzipan and dark chocolate.
Palate: Full-bodied and complex. Juicy cherry and plum combine with caramel toffee, almond praline, and a warming blend of spices—cinnamon, black pepper, and clove. The sherry cask influence delivers rich dried fruit notes balanced by smooth malt sweetness and a touch of citrus zest.
Finish: Long and warming. Lingering flavors of sherry sweetness, dark fruits, gentle spice, and toasted oak fade gradually, leaving a rich and satisfying aftertaste.
Overall: A powerful Highland malt with bold sherry influence, showcasing deep fruit and spice complexity. Cask strength enhances intensity while preserving balance and elegance.
