The release of this bottle was dedicated to celebrating the art of barrel-making which is an extremely important piece in the process of making Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey. The barrels used to make this special whiskey were hand selected by Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and his team of whiskey makers and these “Heritage Barrels” were slowly heated in order to achieve a deeper and richer toasted layer before being charred.

Bottled at 100 proof and released as a 750ml Single Barrel in the Fall of 2018, only 200 barrels were used for this limited release. Jeff Arnett was quoted as saying “we believe we’ve made a whiskey that would make our earliest coopers and Mr. Jack himself proud.”
