A new release from Highland Park, which will be music to some people’s ears. Dubbed Full Volume, the expression was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2017. It spent this time exclusively in first fill bourbon casks, rather than Highland Park’s traditional sherry casks. This certainly turned up the volume on those delicious creamy bourbon notes. The single malt was finally bottled at 47.2% ABV and comes presented in a sufficiently trendy presentation box which could easily be mistaken for a Highland Park-sized speaker.
