This wonderfully sherried Highlander is the eighth batch of the Cask Strength series from the GlenDronach Distillery! It’s been matured in Spanish oak Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, before it was bottled at a warming 61% ABV. Very chocolatey, jammy stuff, great for an evening sipper.

Nose: Earthy oak and vanilla pod, with sandalwood, mocha and golden syrup.
Palate: Dusty cocoa, dates and cherry jam, with a drizzle of caramel and praline.
Finish: Fresh espresso, with gooey chocolate pudding and cigar box.
