Description
Freixenet Cordon Rosado Seco 75cl is a fresh and fruity Spanish rosé Cava produced in Catalonia. Known as the vibrant pink partner to Freixenet’s famous Cordon Negro, it combines an attractive colour with elegant bubbles and an approachable, fruit-forward character.
The wine is made from the Spanish red grape varieties Trepat and Garnacha. Trepat contributes strawberry, raspberry, cherry and gentle spice, while Garnacha brings floral aromas, ripe berries and freshness. Together, they create a lively sparkling rosé filled with strawberry, blackberry, grenadine and soft dried-fruit notes.
Cordon Rosado is produced using the traditional Cava method, with its second fermentation taking place inside the bottle. This process develops its fine bubbles, smooth texture and delicate bottle-aged character.
The Seco classification gives it a slightly sweeter and softer profile than Brut Cava. Its combination of ripe summer fruit, refreshing acidity and an appealingly long finish makes it suitable for relaxed celebrations, afternoon gatherings and serving alongside food.
Why Choose Freixenet Cordon Rosado Seco 75cl
This Cava stands out because it offers more fruit and gentle sweetness than a traditional Brut sparkling wine while remaining fresh, light and refreshing.
Trepat and Garnacha give the wine an expressive red-fruit profile, with strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and cherry supported by floral notes and soft spice. Its elegant bubbles prevent the fruitiness from feeling heavy.
The distinctive pink presentation also makes it an attractive choice for celebrations, romantic occasions, brunches, parties and gifts.
Ideal For.
This wine is ideal for customers who enjoy fruity rosé sparkling wines with strawberry, blackberry, floral aromas and gentle sweetness.
It is ideal for picnics, afternoon teas, garden parties, weddings, birthdays, barbecues and relaxed celebrations.
It also pairs well with fruit salads, soft cheeses, charcuterie, paella, lightly spiced dishes and fruit-based desserts.
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C in a flute or tulip-shaped sparkling-wine glass.

Collector’s Note
Freixenet Cordon Rosado Seco is primarily intended for drinking and celebration rather than long-term collecting. It was produced as an ongoing non-vintage Cava and does not carry an individual bottle number or confirmed limited production quantity.
The presentation shown uses an earlier Cordon Rosado label and bottle design. Freixenet currently presents its Rosado in updated packaging in some international markets, giving older sealed examples modest interest to collectors of Freixenet bottles and discontinued packaging styles.
This Cava is best enjoyed while young, when its berry fruit remains fresh and its bubbles lively. Store it in a cool, dark place away from heat and direct sunlight.
