Released in 2024, Magisterium brings together three distinct 16-year-old single blended rums. Every component combines spirit from Foursquare’s copper double-retort pot still and continuous twin-column Coffey still, giving the final blend both rich weight and refined balance.

The first component matured for three years in ex-bourbon barrels before spending another 13 years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The second spent nine years in ex-bourbon barrels followed by seven years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, while the third matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels for 16 years.

This carefully designed maturation programme gives Magisterium a powerful combination of traditional Foursquare character and deep sherry-cask influence. Expect dark chocolate, raisins, black cherries, mango, pineapple, coffee and coconut, supported by salted caramel, vanilla, oak spice and dried fruit.
