This Caol Ila single malt has been given the sherry cask treatment, courtesy of the crew at Darkness! Matured for 14 years, the whisky was treated to a finish in an oloroso sherry octave resulting in heaps of citrus and spice to support the earthy, peaty salinity at its core.

Nose: Briny minerality with baking spices and earthy peat bolstered by sweet candied orange.
Palate: Tarry coals and poached stone fruits mingle, with runny caramel, oaken vanilla, and waves of salted lemon.
Finish: More citrus, with flamed orange peels and tangy marmalade, toffee, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
