Description

Benrinnes 30 Year Old 1990 Connoisseurs Choice Gordon & MacPhail 70cl 55.1% is a rare and powerful Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled by the respected independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. Distilled on 29 October 1990 and bottled on 4 November 2020, this release was matured for 30 years in a first fill sherry hogshead, giving it remarkable depth, richness, and complexity.

Benrinnes is known for producing a weighty and distinctive Speyside spirit, and Gordon & MacPhail describes the distillery as one of the boldest and most characterful in the region. That robust spirit style works especially well with long sherry maturation, creating a whisky with concentrated notes of fruitcake, chocolate, spice, stewed fruit, and toasted oak.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.1% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring, this is a highly appealing bottle for both serious drinkers and collectors. With only 227 bottles produced from cask #18600301, it is a limited release with genuine rarity and strong collector appeal.
