Description
Tasting Note
Nose: Rich and inviting. Ripe dark cherries, dried fruits, and juicy red berries mingle with warm sherry sweetness, vanilla custard, and hints of toasted oak. Subtle spices—cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg—add depth, alongside a touch of marzipan and chocolate.
Palate: Full-bodied and complex. Layers of cherry kirsch, raisin, and dried figs combine with caramel toffee, almond praline, and gentle oak spice. A luscious mouthfeel carries hints of dark chocolate, cinnamon, and soft vanilla, balanced by a light citrus zest.
Finish: Long, warming, and slightly drying. Lingering notes of sherry sweetness, dried fruits, and gentle spice fade gracefully.
Overall: A beautifully expressive lowland malt matured in sherry casks, showcasing rich fruit, spice, and oak complexity. The cask strength enhances its intensity without overwhelming balance.
