Description
Arran 30 Year Old 70cl, 46% is an exceptionally mature Island single malt Scotch whisky created from some of the oldest spirit held at Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran.
Introduced to Arran’s core range in 2026, this prestigious expression was selected from old and rare sherry hogsheads filled during the earliest years of the distillery’s production. Lochranza began distilling in 1995, giving this whisky a direct connection to the formative period of modern Arran single malt.
Three decades of maturation have produced a rich but elegant whisky built around burnt orange, honey, ripe orchard fruit, vanilla and warming spices. Mature sherry-cask influence adds depth and structure, while toasted oak and Arran’s fruit-led distillery character maintain balance.
Bottled at 46% ABV, the whisky is presented at natural colour and without chill filtration. It arrives in a substantial natural wooden presentation box with copper accents, accompanied by a bespoke bottle and premium wood-grain embossed label.
Why Choose Arran 30 Year Old 70cl, 46%
This expression stands out because it represents the oldest age-stated whisky released as part of Arran’s core range. Its spirit comes from the earliest period of Lochranza Distillery, giving it considerable historical importance as well as exceptional maturity.
The carefully selected sherry hogsheads provide richness without overwhelming Arran’s characteristic fruit. Burnt orange, apples and honey are balanced by vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and toasted oak.
For drinkers, it offers the complexity and polished texture expected from a 30-year-old single malt. For collectors, its age, early-distillery provenance, limited availability and luxury wooden presentation make it one of the most significant modern Arran releases.
Ideal For.
This bottle is ideal for serious Arran collectors seeking one of the oldest official expressions released by Lochranza Distillery.
It is ideal for whisky drinkers who appreciate mature sherry-cask single malts with orchard fruit, honey, citrus, vanilla, aromatic spice and carefully integrated oak.
It is also ideal for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirement gifts, corporate presentations and prestigious additions to a luxury whisky collection.
Enjoy it neat in a suitable tasting glass, allowing the whisky time to rest before drinking. A few drops of water may reveal additional fruit, citrus sweetness and oak spice.

Collector’s Note
Arran 30 Year Old has exceptional collector appeal because it represents a major point in the history of Lochranza Distillery. The whisky was drawn from stocks originating near the beginning of production, connecting the bottle directly with the establishment and development of Arran single malt.
The bottle shown is the 2026 core-range presentation and should not be confused with the separately issued 2025 First Release. That earlier release came from a single hogshead filled on 12 September 1995, was bottled on 13 October 2025 and was restricted to 300 bottles. Arran subsequently announced that a core-range 30 Year Old would follow in key international markets.
The natural wooden case, copper accents and bespoke bottle give this edition considerable display presence. Complete examples should ideally retain the original wooden box and all accompanying materials, as presentation condition will be important to long-term collector interest.
Although officially described as a core-range whisky, it is produced from extremely limited stocks of old spirit and rare sherry hogsheads. Availability is therefore expected to remain restricted.
